	After a few months of rocky reviews (see below) I have had two of my best ever nights at any club - at Chams Newport recently. Fridays are the busier night and there was a realy friendly atmosphere. Lots of lovely people there - old and new faces. Lovely. Date: 31 July 2010

	We went to Chameleons 2 on bunny night (same night as the reviewer below) and we had an AMAZING night!! We were there from 10pm til 2am and loved every minute of it! Yes, there was a lot of single men there - but that made it brilliant! We have got bored of going to clubs where it is clicky couples sitting in a bar talking all night - they are meant to be swinging clubs, so why do people not swing?? The couples we met and played with upstairs were there to play and were great company! As for the single men, there being a lot suited Debis preference of "fuck me and move out of the way for the next one!". Debi wanted to go to a club and come away saying "BLIMEY!!" - Chams 2 did that for her! WE are going again this Friday (16th April) in the hope for a repeat - this time she wants more!! If you want couples only sitting in a bar talking about their new conservatories who then only do a 1 on 1 swap for the last 25 mins of the night, it probably wont be your thing - but if (like Debi) you want a night of wild abandon with as many men as possible, then the place is amazing!! 	Tried the Newport club for the first time last night. The building is amongst the best clubs buildings we have seen. There were so many different rooms, it was easy to get lost. We were a bit disappointed to find a single men there as the website gives the impression it's couples only on a Saturday evening. They told us that's just Darleston, but we weren't the only couple that misunderstood the website. Have a look for yourself, we don't think it's clear. Having said that the single men were not the hunting type, so they didn't bother us. A very pleasant suprise was the buffet which appeared around midnight. That was a nice treat that we weren't expecting. It seems that Saturday nights are actually quite quiet and when we got there around 9pm there were only about 4 couples and 4 single men there. It did get busier later, but there were probably never more than 15 couples. The initial crowd must have been late 40s to mid 50s. They were all very friendly, but not our type. Later on one or two younger couples did show up and we had a very enjoyable time playing with them. We were told it is usually better frequented on a Friday evening. All went well for us. We were lucky. For a better "chance" of meeting someone you like, it looks like Friday might be a better bet. Date: 25 October 2009

Our first time in Newport was Friday night and we met a love Lady working there , whom as far as I know is a permanent member of staff. Also had a good chat with the car park attendant. I understand people seem to miss Bryn(whom I assume from peoples comments was a fond member of staff), but does that give them the right to critise all other members of staff (my understanding was that the other regular member of staff was on holiday). Maybe I have misunderstood what this section is for, I always thought club reveiws were for just giving your opinion on the club and its facilities (and if the staff are pleasant/helpful or offish and rude) Date: 19 May 2009

	Went to chams in Newport for the first time on friday, met some lovely people (a few being newbies there like us who we had a good time with) and had a great time. Although smaller scale than the one in darlaston it was well laid out with some very nice dark areas. Will definately go again. Date: 18 May 2009

	Well we attented the club last night saturday 1st nov ,we were very nervous but we had nothing to worry about as the staff and couples were extremely friendly and put us at ease straight away. The club is very big dont let the outside fool you as its set over 3 floors and many rooms to get lost in.The club is clean but it could do with a bit of upgrading. The jacuzzi was great nice size in fact we spent most of our night in there, the club was warm thank god as it was not much fun going outside for a cigerete but they do provide dressing gowns and there were heater outside so it was not as bad as you might think if your a smoker.The age range of couples were a nice mix but the best part of the night was the was the friendly people we met not once did we feel uncomfortable. The jacuzzi was great nice size in fact we spent most of our night in there, the club was warm thank god as it was not much fun going outside for a cigerete but they do provide dressing gowns and there were heater outside so it was not as bad as you might think if your a smoker.The age range of couples were a nice mix but the best part of the night was the was the friendly people we met not once did we feel uncomfortable.

	We love the club, the staff are like your best friends, and its always clean and warm. We have been to chams in Birmingham, and we didn't enjoy it there, so do not be put off if your the same. 	went for a second visit on friday had an amazing time again couldnt beleive how busy it was, great atmosphere,the staff are great, very relaxed and friendly ,the jacuzzi was packed all night it was brill ,we stayed over in the B+B it was very clean and tidy will most def be staying over again cant wait till next time we are addicted. Wow, what a night we had on Saturday. It was our 1st experience of a club, although we have been on scene, playing, for 18 months, we were very nervous and not sure what to expect. The outside is very discreet and easy to miss, but once through the door we were met by very helpful and friendly staff. Locker room was cosy but adequate, we were only in there for a few seconds, then into the Bar. Prices we very reasonable for soft drinks and thought it was a nice system they had to look after our booze for us. Hot tub was a firm favourite throughout the night and we had alot of fun in it ;-). The play rooms are very varied with something for everyone, but be warned you will get lost. Everyone there was friendly and we felt very safe, can't wait to go back again soon and will def be going to Darleston soon. Hope to see you there.

	Made my first visit last friday after being to Darleston a few times, found the place just as friendly and relaxed, especially as I was on my own and didnt know anyone! Didnt play but took a fabulous whipping in the dungeon,,i still cant sit down without wincing haha!! We are very regular members of chams in Darlaston so thought we would try Newport.

We've tried it twice on a Saturday (so this review is only about Saturday's).

The staff are friendly enough but realistically not interested in doing their jobs.

The buffet is very good (included in the price)

The jacuzzi is gorgeous and hot and totally clear.

There's loads of rooms to play in, take a compass because you will get lost.

The couples locker room is too small, and thats with only a dozen or so couples in.

On the whole, the place is clean, however, it's looking tired and a bit tatty around the edges.

The welsh are a very friendly bunch, always happy to say hi and have a chat.

However............. This is NOT Chams at Darlaston. It does NOT have the same atmosphere YET.......

It also doesn't have the same relaxed feel.

We think that once it has been going for a few months on a Saturday night it will brighten up.

We will go back but not yet. Maybe when the amount of people increases because realistically, there is not much choice at the moment. The second saturday we went only had 2 single males in and they were NOT our 'type' at all.

All in all a good club but it is going to be compared to it's mother club in Darlaston until it establishes its own identity.

p.s. As an after thought. It makes for an expensive night if you have to pay to get over the Toll Bridge as well. Maybe if the owners knocked off the bridge price on the proof of the Toll receipt?????

It is definately worth giving this club a try. The more people that use it, the better it will become.

made the long journey down to south wales to visit this club. We didnt know what to expect as we have been spoilt over the years with being members of chams in the midlands.

From the outside chams2 didnt look all that impressive but once inside wow.

It has the same warm clean enviroment as darleston.

Wonderfull friendly staff.

The jacuzzi was out of this world..nice and hot but with crystal clear water.

As for the people there, what a really great bunch. No cliques, no groups, everyone there was chatty and friendly.

Although not as busy as darleston the atmosphere in the club was great. There was a nice mix of couples and single guys.

We had great fun wandering round the many floors, exploring all the rooms (and playing in some) which there we so many of....im sure we still havent seen them all yet.

We shall most definatly be going to pay a visit again real soon.
