Went on Sat 28th couples only night. The only reason it has not got a fabulous rating is becuase people are not attending it yet. (not the clubs fault ) The couples only nights are new and need to catch on. we strongly suggest people support this club on couples night. A great deal of hard work and preparation has gone into the premises which are well thought out, conducive to filthy shananigens and spotlessly clean with lots of nice little touches. If couples packed it out on couples night which they really should, then nothing could stop this superb venue taking off. It s a new place, give the management chance to find their feet. It's great that they have provided a couples only night and they truly deserve the support now of the swinging community. The last saturday of each month should therefore be a must on your calander. We can have decent clubs, but only if we support them and dont pull them tp pieces on minor issues. It would be nice to see it competing with La Chambre. We never met the management but we wish them luck.

I took a ldy there on a social night a few months back and found the place to be good.

I appreciate that good and bad reviews should be placed about every club but the bad reviews in here, well they seem to be problems that should be addressed with the magement at the time not on a forum.

No club is perfect but by getting rid of the idiots the clubs can only get better.

If you complained to staff and nothing was done then post it, dont post if you did not mention you grievances to the staff.

THIS IS A REVIEW WE PUT ON AFTER 4 VISITS TO THE CLUB...................We went along last night with friends (as mentioned in previous post)...this is the 4th time we have been to this club, as already said there is not much to complain about with the club itself -it's just the lack of custom. We don't think the owners are doing theirselves any favours by having the single guys in on a Saturday night.

One thing we did notice last night was the lack of staff!!! We appreciate that it wasn't busy BUT one female member of staff in a swingers club....what if there had been some controversy/trouble????

We sincerely hope that the management can turn this club into something worth visiting - but suggest that it is THEY who need to be doing the organizing of events/advertising etc etc - doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm from them. They need to seriously review the way they are running this club - because otherwise it is going to always be a non starter.

AFTER THIS POSTING WE RECEIVED A MSG FROM THE OWNERS SAYING THAT WE WERE BARRED!!!!!!

This is the best club we’ve ever attended.

Quality swingers mature and young and a great atmosphere.

Quality rooms, quality bar, fantastic staff!

We were there when the couple who have been barred were there.

Why were they so angry and shouting when all they were asked to do was keep their glasses indoors.

The guy was very aggressive to the girl behind the bar...she is about 5 foot tall and he was about 5’11, 6 foot.

Tough guy or what! (Wiki Tough guy for definition)

The other couple who said there were loads of single guys...Have you got the right club?

There were 3 single guys in the place and they were very polite.

We played with 2 of them and they were very well mannered.

I guess that genuine swingers have to decipher the genuine from the fake, and quite frankly...That’s easy.

Keep up the good work A&G’s, see you on Saturday :-)

I think the 2 positive reviews below forget there are sometimes those who feel differently.

I think they might have missed the point of a review:

A review is:

• An appraisal or evaluation of a service or book, club, bar, nightclub

• An essay or article that gives a critical evaluation (as of a book or play) , club, bar, nightclub

• To appraise critically

I also think they've missed the point that people should include their experience of the venue not someones elses experience of the venue. If that happens to include negative experiences then so be it, it still forms part of a Critical Evaluation of any service performed by any one.

Clearly an eduction makes a difference to the quality and substance of any review, so yes some of them are a complete waste of time and space, but they shouldn't suggest everyone is attacking the club due to some grudge. They should evaluate each and every review separately given the same person hasn't written them all.

It is a clicky club or was when we went.

Guys all upstairs waiting to pounce,Trying to pull womens towels off.

We have reported what we say nothing more & nothing less.

YES people should go & judge for them selves...but why do people get shirty when someone leaves a bad review thats life & what reviews are all about.

La Chambre has also been clicky in the past...but its still the best club within 80 miles & its always packed with people.

So let people judge for them selves......

I think people with a "grudge" for whatever reason, should not post a review.

This club is great, great staff, well run and not in any way "clicky".

We have been 5 times now and always enjoyed our visit.

It has the potential to be the best club in the North of England and is threatening the status of more well known clubs and I don’t think some people are happy with that.

Ignore the negatives, look at the positives and try the club yourself once or twice, then post a review that is realistic. (And readable)

NOT A VERY NICE EXSPRIANCE.

We went last weekend for the first time the staff were great very friendly but we didnt even get shown around the venue ?

There were just groups of people stood around just stareing at us when we walked in, Later on we went out side for a smoke & again big group of people all stood together & again they all staired at us like you have just interupted something, this kept on all night.

I went to the bar & stood there waiting to be served when someone came from behind me called the bar mans name (carnt remember what is whas) & he gave her a kiss on the cheek & said hiya love then served her while i was still just standing there waiting !!!

When we did go upstairs for a play there were just lots of guys just all hanging about on the landing in there towels.

1 guy said great tits love, now some would take this as a compliment....but then another guy touged at the wifes towel trying to pull it off saying come on love give us a flash.......then i got cross & told him to go get a life.

The club itsself is nice & clean...but unfortunatly they carn't control the clientel.

We will not be going back as we feel it is now dominated & run by regulars who are very clicky.

AVOID THIS CLUB LACHAMBRE IS ALOT BETTER.

we've had nothing but excellent service from not only the barstaff, the real nice guy on the door and from graham and amanda. The place is great and we are grateful that they've put the time and effort in to keep going and perserving until it became well known enough to start "pulling in the punters". The 1st birthday party was excellent even if dawn did drink you dry of wine!. All our very best to you all for the future and we will no doubt be seeing you soon

Hi to all this is Amanda part owner of A&G's. I have never been involved in the reviews regarding the club as i beleive everybody sees our club in a different light to the next person due to all of us having many different desires, so theres no right or wrong point of view as far as im concerned.

Im sure you have seen there has been no personal reviews regarding myself or graham as we try very hard to keep ourselves professional because we believe everybody should be treated the exact same as the other so that everybody in the club feels as welcome as each other, after all we're all there to have fun so if we all have that in common thers no clickyness and no feelings of intimidation or competition as i said thats if we are all there for the same thing, however as im sure we all no there are the odd people that feel extra important and feel they dont have to stick to rules that are here for all our members whether it be for safety hygiene whatever the rules they are in place to make us all feel comfortable. Any member that tells me they dont have to follow the rules because the've sopported the club from the start would get the exact same reponse as i gave to the couple below, as we have many members that have supported us from the start who kindly stick to the rules and understand the rules are in the best interest of all members which we are extremly greatful for.

This is a club welcome to all kinds of people with all different wants desires and needs but not to those who come in and do nothing but look down there nose at others, expecting to be respected when they are damn right rude ( my bar staff are paid to deal with this and ignore it but im not) this creates an atmosphere of clickiness of which we dont desire in OUR club, OUR meaning not myself or Graham all our members. I expect my staff to be there to attend to all of your needs ( myself and graham included) but not to be letting people slack on the rules just because they may have become friendly as all this does is make me look like the bad guy that has to imploment the rules, of course i have to otherwise the club would not be the club it is a year on today. So if telling the couple below they had to adhere to the rules offended them and that they were no different to any other couple in the club offended them lets put it this way ive been dying to tell them for ages and glad they realised i never cracked a smile when they were in the club, so i look forward to many nights of smiling and fun nights from now on with everybody feeling free to do as they please!!!!!!

‘Club Reviews’ what do we write about? Well the stuff that’s important to us, a wet area maybe or somewhere clean, possibly the fact that the owners control the number of single males well. We all find different things important but do we ever stop to think what the MOST important thing is about a Swingers Club?

A&Gs in Huddersfield is a converted pub, nothing wrong with that many swingers clubs around the world no doubt were public houses. This one though has had an inspired conversion, clearly someone with building or architectural experience was involved in the interior design and planning.

What’s more it’s the cleanest club my wife and I have ever been to, ok it’s not that many come to think of it after using all my fingers I decided to stop counting, suffice to say we’ve been to more than 10 different clubs not a lot but enough to spot probably one of the Finest Clubs in the North of England.

Maybe just as important is the fact that you don’t have to worry about parking your car, the area seems nice enough and to my knowledge they’ve not had any issues, we always felt the car was ok, in fact I can’t remember us ever giving it a second thought. Given that the cameras the club has installed cover the parking areas as well you can feel even more comfortable, they really have thought of everything.

Smokers I hear you think have they made an effort so many places don’t really bother, well the smokers area is a pleasant place to be, can’t say that often can you, in fact it’s one of the main social areas in the club even the none smokers come out and chat when our great British weather allows.

So what is the most important thing about a club? Well I can tell you some of the things that aren’t as important:

Secure lockers, yes the clubs has those too

Nice clean shower area, yes the club has that as well

Towels in the lockers, yes they have them and they are always clean

A free condom in the lockers, you guessed it they even supply one of those

Plenty of clean well-appointed play rooms, well they weren’t going to forget them were they

Tissues in the play rooms, need I go on?

Yes they have everything just as it should be, but wait we get back to that most important thing again, yes I know I’m delaying it aren’t I?

Well I’m delaying it because I wanted you to see how long we’ve spent thinking about it, ok I’ve spent thinking about it, the author of this little post is Carl by the way.

Is it how often the single guys reading this score there? Is it if compatible people are there for you couples to play with? Does it depend if you get the chance to be voyeuristic?

Well no in my opinion it’s the STAFF, the staff make or break any club and that includes the owners not just those peeps working behind the bar and the people behind the bar work very very hard.

Why the owners and the staff? Well I’ll tell you why because in one way or another they are the only common denominator that affect everything and everyone who goes there:

Someone turns up you can’t stand, you just avoid them no? Someone’s getting a bit loud as they’ve had a little too much to drink, we’ve all been there, you move away.

But there is no moving away from the staff and owners you have to speak to them every time you arrive, want a drink, need a locker key, have a question, well you get the picture I don’t want to bore you too much.

So the question remains or is that the point I am trying to get to remains?

Has A&Gs got everything right? Well sadly no they haven’t they fall on the big one the decider the make or break priority STAFF and or OWNERS.

Now in this case staff wise they have hit a goldmine Debs and her lovely husband are complete STARS always enjoyed their company and they have always been totally professional.

The doorman is also a star a complete gentleman always smart and pleasant to speak to.

I find this part of my post difficult, because I want to be honest but not rude, fair and not biased, so here goes, there are members of staff with an attitude problem who really need to get it under control, not only do they never crack a smile, they can be short and blunt with people so much so it comes across as rude. A swingers club is no place for an attitude like that and I believe it’s dragging the one of the owners down as well.

Now I’d find that very difficult to say normally, yes because I don’t like to offend or upset anyone in any way at all, but given I’m not the first and I suspect the last to express that view, maybe it needed saying?

Flame me delete the post I really don’t care, I just feel saddened to the core that somewhere we’ve openly promoted in chat room’s somewhere we’ve encouraged people to meet us somewhere we went to for nearly a year paying to get in even though it was quiet and I mean quiet, sometimes we were the sole couple with 1 or two single males, on Sat or Fri nights no less, could behave on mass the way they behaved on Saturday 22nd August 2010.

To even suggest 2 intelligent, mature people with the attitude we both have would “try to stop others attending the club” or to need to check the cars parked outside the club as we were driving away, come on we aren’t a couple of kids we’re all grown-ups!

We’re left in amazement at the ignorance and shear idiocy of it all!

Went as a couple on sat and what a cracking night it was! Was a very chilled out and relaxed evening (downstairs anyway, no relaxing upstairs) slept like a log when I got home. Met some nice couples especially the couple in the glory hole who ever you were!!! Couldn't see a thing, but suppose that's the idea!!! Roll on next time!

Well where do we start ?

weve been on the scene for quite a while & to be honest weve been to a few clubs in our time but mainly La Chambre as its on our doorstep so to speak,We go there about every 2 weeks.

We finaly decided to try A & G's after reading reviews on here & listening to friends coments about the place.

Well all we can say is ITS ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC .....

Ultra Clean.

Smells nice & fresh.

Great rooms.

Bins & tissues in all rooms.

Very Friendly.

Bar prices are cheap.

What more can anyone ask for.

Possible down side.

The only thing that we hope doesn't happen is it starts getting clicky when regulars go quite often & start to form little groups !!! as this can be very off putting to new couples that attend.

But we will definatly be back.......

Needless to say I was in demand which just shows that people do want single men on a Saturday night. I came home with a huge smile on my face and so did three women!!!! Lol

Firstly it's clear that you can't please everyone but hey that's life.

Secondly, everyone appears to have given their own honest opinion of the night and there are lots of constuctive comments.

So well done everyone, truthful reviews make Fab Swingers a really good source of information to consider before setting off on a couple of hundred mile round trip.

first n foremost a massive big thanks to Amanda , Graham , Debs , Dave n Amy for the time n effort they put in on Sat nite on their 1st Birthday Bash !!! This club has evolved over the last 12 months to be the hottest , horniest n sexiest club in the North of England bar none . Everyones entitled to their opinion n review n rightly so but the people moaning about A n G`s being too busy , too many singles , too hot , too crowded , too expensive , too goddamm dark , are the SAME miserable people who were of completly the opposite viewpoint only a few months ago !!! It takes a mix of personalities n characters to make a successful vibrant happening club n this is what A n G`s has at the moment . The people who enjoyed theirselves n circulated n partied well done . The people who didnt have such a good time , chill out , calm down n put it behind you n move on , LIFE`S TOO SHORT !!! we are going to stick up a little bit for the single guys on this occasion, saturday was the 1st birthday party of the club and everyone was invited, we have been 5 or 6 times and recognised some of the single guys, meaning above all else these guys have been supporting the club since its birth with their attendance whether it be on a thurs fri or whatever and have as much right as us couples to go to this party, if it had just been a themed party fair enough maybe just couples, at the end of the day we have been to a few clubs and this club has much more in its favour than most as was shown by the sheer number of people there on sat.

Our first trip to A and G's on Saturday and because of the party we knew there would be lots of people and lots of single men. It did live up to the expectations and we played two sessions. Firstly with a couple we'd arranged to meet but the only room unlocked was the upstairs open room. Sure enough as soon as we started we became and attraction for all the single men which we were o.k. with but our friends found it a bit too intimidating.

If you've ever seen Dr Who and I say they reminded us of the Weeping Angles, you'll have a good idea of how things were. Every time you blinked they moved even closer. If you were into plenty of single male attention you would have been in cock heaven.

We weren't, so we de-camped back to the central floor and were lucky enough to find the dark room now available so piled in there. We had a fantastic time and the only complaint was that the flashing stark white light started to become uncomfortable for us (and we do all like to see what we're doing). Wouldn't have chosen that room but it was the only one left. Shame it didn't have the option of mood lighting but I guess in a normal evening you'd only pick that room if that was your thing.

Afterwards we went to the ground floor to catch the female stripper and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Out to the patio and chatting away, with plenty of old and new faces to say hi to. Our friends had decided to make for home but we went for another look round.

We couldn't find any couples in open rooms so put our chatting heads on and went back to the patio to introduce ourselves to lots of new sexy people. After having a laugh and good chat we were about to make our exit when we were invited to join a new foraging party into the play rooms. We were lucky enough to get locked into a nice room with three other couples and off we went. Time did fly and next thing we knew we'd made it to the end of the night in just about one piece , covered in lots of sweat and fluids lol. What a fab end to the night.

Got to say the staff were lovely and as helpful as they could be under the circumstances and it really is a lovely club (we're comparing to Le Chambre as it's the only other one we've managed yet).

So, we're going back there next Saturday to sample a "normal" night, partly because it's one of our friends' birthday and we want to blow her candles and eat her cake lol, but we would have gone again anyway because we loved it.

Overall a fantastic night with fantastic people and a proper party. Only downside was the number of "sword fighters" (sorry Max, pinched your one liner there) in abundance but if you like lots of spare cock you couldn't have been anywhere better.

Oh yes, nearly forgot, the price was great value for money and the drinks were really cheap. £2 for a bottle of Stella is really cool. They charge £3.60 for the same thing in Pizza Hut and ask you to leave when you ask them to get naked for the "all you can eat" buffet (I know, I've tried it).

We went to the 1st Birthday party and it was very busy, because it was a Saturday night couples who are into other couples assume that they should have the run of a club and dictate who and who should not be there. As far as I know the evening was advertised for couples and singles. There were single guys there, the ones I came across were respectable and followed the etiquette, however like most planned events, you get one or two who let the others down. The main culprit of that was in fact the male half of a couple who clearly took it upon themselves to play individually, so the “lets ban the single guys” brigade should consider that before putting pen to paper to complain.

As usual the club was great, well kept, good entertainment and although very busy the evening went okay. We did not play as there was no-one who took our fancy and of course we have the nerve to tell a single guy .... “thank you, but we are not interested, but have a good evening” and move on rather than saying nothing and then complaining.

Overall , a good night and we will be going again.

We went to this club with a group of friends, thought we'd have a change of scenery..We have to admit, we havn't been to a club for about 2 years for various reasons, mainly having a vibrant private party scene here in Hull so didn't have to travel, so expectations wasn't that high. Have to say that we found the club itself well presented, well laid out, clean, the staff bent over backwards to help you out. We met lots of really nice friendly people. We were really impressed and had a great night! The place was absolutely heaving, so it was difficult to play...and yes the single guys were a pain in the arse, we would have played if it wasn't for them lurking around like vultures...but I'm sure the club will address this issue and put it right, we'd still recommend this place to anyone! Afterall it was their first birthday bash and they can be forgiven for being snowed under with sheer force of numbers (Surely this is a recommendation for its popularity on its own!) The disco run by 2 drag queens and the strippers was a nice touch. And cheap!!! we were pleasantly surprised at just being charged our annual membership, prices for drinks were great, so night didn't cost an arm and a leg! (So being tight arse Yorkshire people, this was a bonus LOL)

We noticed lots of negative reviews, and we feel although there are one or two points justified, clashes of personalities, and peoples attitudes are NOT the clubs fault, you can't please 'em all! Good on yer A&G's, best club in Yorkshire :)

What can we say that hasnt already been said.

Well, we knew it was going to be buisy,,, being the clubs 1st birthday bash and all that. But unfortunatly we think it was a victim of its own success in that it was a bit over crowded last night,,,,LOL

Having visited twice before, we can honestly say, it is an exceptional club to be in, so please all NEWBIE CPLS DONT BE PUT OFF. (its a once a year thing)

The owners and the all the bar staff, especially (debbie n dave) worked realy hard. A credit to you all.

On a good note, we met some rather nice cpls to talk to and had a good time.

There were, from wot we could see about 10-12 single males in the club,,, propotional, as there were about 50-60 cpls there. But unfortunatly some if not the vast majority of these spoilt it for them selves and other cpls. They were like VULTURES hovering on the landing waiting for a kill.

So to all you VULTURES,, have some respect,,,

if you would like a fuck, try and get a PERSONALITY first and ingage in conversation in the bar first. Then you might be in the lions pride and you dont have to hover like a vulture.

Rant over,,,, lol.

Once again, thanks again to all the staff for a great nite, and YES we will be visiting again. ITS BRILLIANT.

this is our fourth time to AnG's was very pleased to meet the lovely amanda for the first time and the poor girl deserves a medal. trying to please everyone is a very hard thing to do. we had a very fun evening but found it hard to have the sexy fun we craved.

the good points would be the wonderful friendly staff and the lovely guests who were there, couples or singles. the strippers were fab although I only got to see the male stripper would have loved to see the female too. the music albeit a little too loud for any decent discussion to be had. I do and have always thought the club is very clean and very comfortable; lovely sized rooms and beds and I am loving the new sauna and will be using it come winter when it is cold.

now the other side of the coin would be my health and safety mind. to me, there were too many people. now if we were split over the whole building it wouldnt be as noticable but the smoke deck was amazingly full. in my opinion there only seemed too many single men because the high ratio of couples were downstairs and the majority of single men were waiting upstairs. this is no way shape or form was (again in my opinion) any fault to the running of the club.

I did think there was a few very rude single men last night I myself was played with by a so called watcher. all I can think is that when my husband came and joined in he though it was a free for all. I overheard a single man actually arguing with two couples over coming in the to the couples room to watch. I whole heartedly agree with another review as to the fact it was a party for its members and that is what it was.

joined last night on the 1st party bash, didnt expect the overwhelming amount of single guys. The place was crammed full, over loaded TBH and a major safety issue. Rows aplenty in all areas. We will try again, but not on a party night. Tips....limit the amount of obnoxious single guys.

we have been to this club around 7 times now we have to say that this club and the staff and the owners have put a lot in to this place and they deserved a full club last night its the cleanest club we have been too and we have been swinging for 11 years now we can see the point that some have made about last night with single guys although we had no problem at all with any guys but didn't go upstairs till later on in the evening there is not usually as many single men in the club on Saturday nights limited to 5 but because last night was the clubs first birthday party there was more allowed in and to be fair the club had a birthday party for its members and the guys who were there are part of the membership so why shouldn't they be there it is however a shame to hear some of them misbehaved and followed women around carol herself doesn't enjoy having anyone follow her allover unless its me lol

there was lots of sexy couples of all ages and some very friendly chatty people a very hot night in more ways than one

we would recommend this club to anyone and to the people who had problems last night do give it another try on a normal Saturday night or the last one in the month where its couples only all that remains to be said is happy 1st birthday to a fantastic club and lets hope you have many more birthdays

We've just read through the negative reviews below and thought we'd add our opinion! (after all - they're ALL just opinions)

Firstly - it was TOO Successful a night!

And we think that's why it turned into such a nightmare of a night.

The staff were as great as last time we went - but they had so much to deal with we can't and don't hold it against them for the spoiling of the night!

The owners had extra staff and even security on, but we feel they didn't realise just how busy it was going to get!!

So yes - it was totally spoilt by the shear numbers of 'uneducated single guys'... BUT - we also have to say we did chat to some very nice, polite singles who were hampered by the ignorant and pathetic ones.

We'd like to think that lessons will be learnt, and given the chance, we're sure the owners and staff will ensure another night is not managed in the same way.

We'll still go back, but will probably avoid big party night until we've seen more reviews... But for a normal night we'd still be happy to recommend the place... It's still a lovely clean club, with excellent staff who do their best with what they have to work with....

AND we did still get to enjoy some good conversations and expand on growing friendships as well as meet some more nice people.

We didn't get to play properly due to the 'problem singles' - but we wouldn't let them put us off returning on normal nights.

So for now - we'd say definitely get along, just check the site and talk to the staff before going on a party night to see what changes they may have implemented :) R&R

Joined last night which was birthday night, place lovely, clean, plenty of rooms and places to play, lovely mix of people and yes noticed the odd comment single guys, we had no issues with them but we did get a room with another couple and locked ourselfs in for a few hours, so may have been different had we not gone in there, how ever we were told there is not usualy so many singles and it was just because it was the party, we had fab time and will definatley be going back, hope it is as busy next time we visit, all staff nice and friendly,

We went to A and Gs for the second time and sadly our evening was spoilt by the behaviour of others who need to learn the club rules and also the etiquette of swinging.Amongst other things neither of us appreciate being trampled on by single guys trying to get to a lady who was allegedly 'up for it' but kept saying 'NO'. The club was clean as before but very crowded. We will only be going again on a couples only night. What a shame as we had high expectations of the !st Birthday Bash and they were spoilt by the behaviour of a few inconsiderate and frankly rude people. The bar staff did come upstairs at one point and tell the single guys to behave because they were putting the couples off, but it just seems to us that there were far too many single guys in the club for our taste.

We found this club to be very poor. The rooms are basic and in need of some proper lighting. Glory hole room is just three holes in a wall nothing exciting about it and it is very dark. The stairs upto the loft playroom were poorly lit which made it difficult to pass people and also dangerous if other people attempting to pass you as it was so cramped. The loft can't really be classed as a dungeon room as only has a playswing. Also, we witnessed an argument upstairs at one point regarding the single males lottering around. You just don't expect this behaviour and it just summed up the night...waste of money!

On a positive the place was full due to the birthday bash which was good however due to the cramped environment it was uncomfortably hot. The bar staff were unprepared for the increase in members and got our change wrong twice. Yes, the owners did try to make the night fun by providing male and female strippers and the drag queen DJ's but it was all quite low budget. Even, though it was busy the majority of the members were of the older end so would not recommend for younger swingers. Obviously this is our experience and opinions of the club... try it out for youselves, but we wont be visiting again

Big thank you to Graham Amanda Dave and Debs for a fun night big big turn out for the birthday party bash it was our third visit some lovely couples there and managed to have some naughty fun with a few of them only downside to the night was we thought there was far to many pushy non rule respecting single guys at one point there was upwards of ten single males stood on the playroom landing and when we when up to top play room at one point we turned round and felt like the pied piper as 6 of the undesirable single males had followed us in processeion we can handle that but felt that for other newbie couples that could of been very very intimidating and could put them off attending in the future credit to Amanda as she did come upstairs and speak to the males concerned but we have to say there are some great friendly respectfull single guys there who do respect the rules its like everything in life you always get a few who spoil it for the others all in all another great night looking forward to next time we visit Debs & Garry x

Went last night to the birthday bash, and here's our opinion. We arent kill joys or miserable buggers, and it's OUR opinion, everyone has their own.

Have put ok as it wasn't fab, or fun, but doesnt deserve an avoid - only just though.

When we arrived and joined, we were told they were short of fivers, (for the change) as loads had joined. The same thing with the bar, "do you have the right change?". Poor planning. This was also an issue when we handed our locker key back in, and they had to search for a fiver.

The beer was warm. buy a big bucket with ice in, and store some beer in there.

Yes it was busy, very busy, but seating was very limited, the music made us think we had been in a delorian and travelled back in time, and the play rooms were incredibly dark - the glory hole room for instance, you could have been sat there for an hour and had no idea if anything had "popped through"!

We found the people rather "clicky" with only a few couples having the decency to hold a conversation, and it was FAR too hot inside.

So the good points - nice large smoking area, good for socialising, it was clean throughout, the play rooms are big (but too dark), and the clientelle range covered most tastes, thin, fat, short, tall, attractive, not-so-attractive, 20's/30's/40's/50's/60's+.

The night was ruined though when we went upstsairs to start playing, and outside the play rooms were approx 20 people having quite a major row (about what, we don't know) and the little attractive lady from the bar was trying to reason with them - without much success. At this point we decided enough was enough, and left. As we were leaving we spotted a couple we know, and they went upstairs, and then also left. Ruined our night out.

However, we found a nice quiet lane and had fun!

Planning would have helped, big style.

Shame, as it could have been a good club for us, will probably be sticking with our usual place from now though.

We went to A+G's for the first time three weeks ago and had a brilliant night but wondered if our second visit would be as good. Well it wasn't! No it was even better!! Last nights Birthday Bash was unbelievable. First of all a big, big thanks to Dave, Debs, Amanda and Graham. for putting the show on the road and working so hard on the night. Disco, male and female strippers, drag queens and oh yes a fair amount of playing went on too. We met some old friends, made some new friends and loved every minute of the evening. Just a couple of the single guys were a bit too pushy but all they needed was a gentle reminder about Club manners. We had been away from the Club scene for a little while and now realise what we had been missing. A+G's is a REAL Swingers Club.

Need to echo some of the reviews on here that the club is ace, just missing some people!! We went on a saturday night which was couples only and there were probably just 15 couple there. (could be due to next weekend being the 1 year anniversary hence the quietness)

The club itself is fantastic!! Very clean, nice play rooms, great sauna, and the staff were very friendly, Attractive too!!!

Just hope it can getta few folk through the door cus' it could be a wicked place to play!! We will be back but will try and get one or two couples with us next time. Spread the word!! Dave and Tracy xxx

We have been to this club a few times now and it is gettin better and better, the bar staff are fantastic and they were run off there feet but still managed to chat and smile.

Its good that they have cut the number of single guys as this was a bit of a problem at previous visits but this time the whole place was buzzing, everyone was chatting and there is no feeling of clickiness here.The rooms are spotless and have a very erotic feel and the bar prices are great.It was like a big family party untill you went upstairs of course ha ha.We will definately be going again i hope people keep coming its a great club :-)

Visited A & G's last night with the Shameless2 Crew and had a Bloody Brilliant night!

Found the place easily as Sat Nav takes you straight there (5 mins of the M62). Plenty of free parking is available.

It Is a Former Pub transformed into a Club. Met at the door by the friendly hosts and joining only took a couple of minutes. £25 seemed very reasonable and the drinks were cheaper than most pubs.

There must have been 30 couples there and a few respectful singles as well. The backroom has a disco and Ariel loved playing on the Pole but gets a bit shy with an audience! Lol!

There is a nice heated smoking area and overall the place had a great atmosphere with everyone interacting and partying.

When we ventured upstairs there were a couple of immaculate playrooms, locker room and Sauna which was very relaxing as well as two dark Cubby hole rooms which we greatly enjoyed and played in allowing you to play in the dark and with other couples as well! (Woooo!)

At the top of the place is a massive playroom (Again immaculate) with a Swing in as well! Turned into a proper Orgy by the end of the night and must have been at least 10 couples in there all groaning with pleasure!

We believe it can be hit and miss by the other verifcations but if last night is anything to go by then this club is on the Up! Will deffo be visiting again and would also recommend to others!

Give the place a go (Whats the worst that can happen! Lol!) and go with friends as we always find that best anyway!

We are sorry but the scale rating does,nt go high enough for this place, it was absolutly brilliant, can it get any better then this we ask ourselves.

After being in the swinging scene for quite some years now, we normally venture to house party`s or have our own as you can see by our verifications.

But not having been to a club for a number of years, as we were put off by other clubs, we thought we would have a change and visit A&G`s.

We got there just before 9pm, was greeted by Amanda and paid our membership in no time. Then we were served at the bar by Graham. This cpl are very very friendly and down to earth. You couldnt meet a nicer cpl to show you round the club.

As for the club, every room was very clean, with brilliant and relaxed surroundings. You can tell the owners have spent a lot of money on this place, every thing was brand new. This club is a credit to the owners and to the staff that run it.

The people we met in this place were so friendly as well, not your clicky types that you get in other clubs. We would deffinatly reccomend this club to every one, well worth travelling the distance.

Once again big thank you to Amanda and Graham. You will be seeing a lot of us and our friends, cross the thresh hold of this club.

We read lots of the reviews and had a really good look at the website before making our first visit to A and G's last night. This is an honest account of our experience.

Our SatNav found the place easily and we could recognise the building from a photo on the website. There seemed to be lots of parking places around and we pulled up almost at the door. We arrived early on purpose to sort out our membership and have a look round before the club became busy. We pressed the door intercom and Amanda appeared at the hatch. She welcomed us in and we we had our membership card in no time at all. £25 for a couple and free entry for our first visit.

Graham showed us round and we won't go into exact details as the inside of the Club is well described on the website and in other reviews. We will confirm that everywhere is well furnished and very clean. We have been to a few Clubs and A and G's felt relaxing, cosy and comfortable.

Back downstairs the place was filling up and there was a great atmosphere in the bar with everyone chatting, laughing and being very friendly.

Eventually we went upstairs. We found the loft room a particulary pleasant playroom as it reminded us of La Tranta (before it burnt down!). We headed straight for the swing and joined by our new friend, Phil, we had a great time.

As we went back into the bar for a drink and a breather we found the whole club buzzing with people having fun. In conclusion we had a very enjoyable and satisfying evening. Amanda and Graham were welcoming and friendly even though they were run off there feet by the numbers coming through the door. We had a brief chat with them as we left and they admitted that it had been one of their busiest nights. We are looking forward to another visit in the near future.

Hi we went a couple of Fridays ago for the first time. We were impressed by the club, it's facilities and the young lady behind the bar, however, the only other person there was a single guy (unfortunatley for him we were only looking for couples).

Another couple came in just as we were leaving, but sadly we couldn't stay having travelled across the Pennines.

We will give it another try as the club itself was fine, as we have been in this game long enough to know a club can be great one night and awful the next. Or vice versa.

We wanted to organise a party for our friends to celebrate an annisersary with us. We'd been to A&Gs a few times in the past and had always been impressed by the layout and cleanliness of the club.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful to organise the do, we were able to have a disco in the back room and a "guestlist" for our friends.

On the night of 1st May we took along about 40 friends, the club was still open to other members of course so on the night it was rocking !! Guess about 70 bodies in all.

This club is the PERFECT venue for any sort of party or social involving swingers. Downstairs you have a bar area for chatting, back room can have a disco, great lazer show and smoke machine. Toilets downstairs and smoking area outback on the same level.

However, when people wanted to play, and that's why we're on this site, the playrooms upstairs are spacious and sparkling clean.

Why have swingers do's in venues where you can't play? At A&Gs you can socialise and play all in the same place. Also, our friends were able to dress in clubwear which certainly would not be allowed in any public venue !!!

As everyone says, that its clean tidy and has a lot going for it.

We only stayed half hour or so.

staff more interested in getting your money the second we walked thou the door. All the staff kept saying, three times you have to pay to come in. ???in about 15 seconds.

Really off putting..

Another couple that was in the club when we entered had left by the time we had been to put our coats away.

Problem is parking outside, no real car park area, next to a school also to open to the main road so if you a little shy, not sure you would enter the club, because of this.

We have to agree with the review below. We like meeting guys not couples. Not every couple just likes to meet couples. If it's an open night for couples and singles then surely everyone is happy right? Apparently not. We'll be giving this club another try maybe next week. What this club really needs though is something to get the people in. Free membership is a must for a start. The big clubs in Manchester don't charge for membership for couples. You turn up and pay your entrance fee and that's it. I think 1 month of free membership and cheap entry (£10?) for couples will start to see the club get busy. It will only take 1 month of the club being busy before the word gets out that it's started to take off. Easy isn't it? Surely having a busy club with free membership and £10 entry and big bar takings is better than it's taking now? Whatever the owners choose we'll be going again soon and giving it our support. Yorkshire needs this club.

Please , please , lets not assume that this club would work better if there were to stop single guys in on a sat night. Some of us prefer to meet single guys rather than couples and also on a like for like percentage guys are supporting this club more than couples are, so get real , the place is fine as it is and its the endless amount of "wanna`b`s and dreamers couples who say they are going and never turn up.

This was our 5th or 6th visit to this club, drawn in by the free entry we had hoped it would be busier, but to no avail. Can't help wondering why the owners are never there we've only seen them twice and they must have put a lot of money into the place. The club is spotlessly clean, great playrooms with paper towels supplied, superb dance floor and lighting system.

Sat night had a good mix of people and generally we don't mind a few single guys as long as they behave themselves and don't pester, no means no ( you know who you are!)

It was good to see some new couples and the younger ones. In the end we had a great fun night thanks to Chris, Caroline & Andy. We'll definitly be back it deserves to suceed but the owners need to put more effort in. P&J

We went along last night with friends (as mentioned in previous post)...this is the 4th time we have been to this club, as already said there is not much to complain about with the club itself -it's just the lack of custom. We don't think the owners are doing theirselves any favours by having the single guys in on a Saturday night.

One thing we did notice last night was the lack of staff!!! We appreciate that it wasn't busy BUT one female member of staff in a swingers club....what if there had been some controversy/trouble????

We sincerely hope that the management can turn this club into something worth visiting - but suggest that it is THEY who need to be doing the organizing of events/advertising etc etc - doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm from them. They need to seriously review the way they are running this club - because otherwise it is going to always be a non starter.

we have to agree fully with the previous review,although the singles arnt a problem for us if limited.we went last night with two other couples who are close friends and im sorry to say at half past ten we left and went to le chambre which was heaving,this is no detrement to the club as the facilities are outstanding and put lc to shame in some ways,the fantastic staff were very friendly and helpful but there was just no atmosphere,we all said if the dancefloor was opened up into the lounge it would change the atmosphere,as you feel very seperated while you are in there,we wish the club all the best as for us it would be fantastic if it could work as its on our doorstep xxx

We have now visited A&G's twice, the first time was in October 09 and again tonight (17.04.10). The club itself is fantastic with a large dance area, good sized lounge and plenty of play rooms including a semi fetish room (swing & chains). The cleanliness is second to none with paper towels and bins in every room; the toilets are spotless and the air is scented throughout with air freshners; there is good sized outside area for us smokers and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. As with a lot of the reviews here, the only let down is the number of attendees :o( Now, a lot of reviewers are saying that more people need to go which I agree with 100%, but it's all well and good saying people need to go, but who wants to travel all the way there (¾ of an hour drive for us) and there not being enough couples to play with SO... I'D LIKE TO ORGANISE A COUPLES ONLY GROUP MEET FOR EITHER 8th, 15th OR 22nd MAY WITH A VARIETY OF COUPLES WITH DIFFERENCE SWINGING PREFERENCES SO HOPEFULLY EVERYONE GETS WHAT THEY WANT. I will contact the owners and ask if it's possible for this 'event' to be couples only even though they advertise Saturday nights as couples & single fems/males by invitation. the club is fantastic, the facilities are great, the staff are top notch, wonder why it empty then? cos some people from some other clubs and their small minded fat arsed friends wanna see it fail, so conspire to put up bad reviews knowing only only too well this far superior club will drag their custom away in the end, stop trying to sabotage this great new club (you know who you are and you have never even been through the doors!) people wake up and smell the coffee and dont be conned by bad reviews from the clicky brigade.

We have wanted to go to this club for a while, but the lack of numbers puts us off. I know people say that how can we moan about the club been quiet if we dont get down ourselves - but if we knew there was going to be a few people in - cpls singles whatever we are not fussed! - then we would be there like a shot!! Even if there was 10-20 of us in there - as long as we were not a lone couple with no-one to party with !

The club does look good on the website and its very handy for us. It would be a shame to see it shut. Maybe the management should try new things?

Unfortunatley ive read too many accounts of people going and the place empty all night. We would of tried it before now , but the thought of it been empty AND quite a pricey night is offputting.

If it was going to be your only night in a while would you want to chance an empty club ? I know thats whats stopped us trying the place so far ....!

Im sure more peeps think the same way as us and would get down there if they knew there was going to be a good turn - out.

. C;mon AnGs - dont give up - get some incentives going!

Also we still not clear on the fees - is it £25 memb then pay £25 entry on top ( first time) , or just pay £25? I heard thurs were £5 but no details on the site?

Have spoken to a number of friends now about clubbing and the main factor seems to be that a couples only night is at the top of most peoples wish list, hence the popularity of la chambre on a saturday night(think is is mainly to do with lack of choice of couples only nights in this area rather than quality of club. We would love to venture to this club but highly unlikely without it being couples only, maybe it would be worth trying this one saturday every month, but dont scrap it after one month give it chance, other than this club sounds ace, fingers crossed eh !

Let me reiterate, the club is great , has huge potential and could be the best club in the North. What has let it down for me on the 3 occasions I have visited are the low numbers of members inside the place. My last comment made it clear that a lot of people talk the talk about going but appear to turn up as they said they would. The place itself is good and could be fantastic.

I arranged a gathering for the 19th Feb , posted on the events page on Fab and got over a 100 emails from couples who "would definately" be there.

On the night about 4 turned up , there was about 6 single guys. Fortunately for me I had some fun with a guy who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. This club still has all the potential but lack of numbers from "definately will be there`s" reflects the same level of dreamers and wanna`bs that there is on this site.

What a great club, well done out with great rooms, lots of facilities, lovely bar area and a great dance area and pole.

What a shame then that after paying our membership fee of £25 that we was left to swing alone. Yes we were the only people in the place and we stayed for 2 hours. No offence but we could have done that at home for free.

I hope and prey that it picks up because we need this club. It's local and the facilities are fantastic.

Note to the owners...have free membership and free entry nights and watch it take off. Lets pack the place out. What have you got to lose? You must have only taken £30 on the night we went so you've nothing to lose. Lets have a night with free membership and free on the door and publicise it well.

we have been twice to this club with a good experience on both occasions and cant believe some people dont realise that 1. the club was opened as a new venture in the run up to xmas when everyone is starting to stop in and save up 2. it was trying to find its feet during the worst winter in 30 years! 3.theres been a recession on.

and on top of that you can expect any new venture to have a few teething troubles. we are sure during the coming summer and spring this place will go from strength to strength and we believe anybody who is good enough to provide us with places like this deserves our support (would you be brave enough to walk in to the bank with a business plan for a swingers club?) so come on guys cos the facilties are superb, the place is spotless and a lot of money has been spent to keep people like us happy and entertained.

We went on sat 27th feb and the night turned out to be a great sexy night....People have to remember that one persons bad experience should not put you off trying this place...we have been 4 times now and never once not had a great night - its what you all make it...

it would be a great shame to let one or two so called bad experiences that people may or may not have experienced put you off trying this place....

The question everyone should ask is do we really want Manchester to be the only place to go?? 1st time visitors last night 30th jan 2010 was met by a really happy smiley face(Amanda)filled in our membership details which we didnt find intrusive at all it only asks what your intrests are and the usual gummings name address ect..we was shown round what can only be described as a very well thought out club very spotless in all areas there is a dancefloor area with pole and fab lighting,as for security there is plenty from the video door lock system to the great yummy door guy lol the only thing this place needs is a jacuzzi which im told there is plans for in future so come on ppl get showing our support by giving this place a chance we will def be going back soon pebbs n bam xxxxxxxxx it would be a great shame to lose what can and will be great club

quick review we went friday 22nd, good points, place is spotless, very nice decor, easy to find,amazing rooms, bad points, very quiet, people banging outside on windows which is on street level, nothing to do really, no people, no pool table, jaccuzzi sauna etc, just rooms and a bar and no drinks allowed upstairs, very very intrusive membership form for couples,and a very worrying point was the owners were not there, just 2 young girls behind bar so no security at all, on this night the bad points out shone the good, we ended up going to another club, but it does have bags and and bags of potential we are told there are plans for a hot tub or somthing o and we would give it another try, but wasnt for us that night

me and paul and another cpl went to A&Gs on Saturday 23rd. what a lovely delightfully club spotlessly clean, set out very well care as been took to do this place out you can see that soon as you go up stairs.

only shame is that it wasn't busy people you really are missing out on this club, yes its new and we dont want to give up our usual nights just in case we dont like it. but the only thing lacking with this club is the customers.

the staff was lovely welcomed us straight away and gave us a tour of the club. we would 100% recommend this club you are missing out so lets get this club going the owners have put the effort in so lets pay them back by going.

Went Friday the 22nd Jan, fair to say the place was not that busy, but we did have to leave just before 11.30 due to babysitter. Its a warm and friendly place with huge potential to be a great club. I really hope this place takes off and fulfills it potential. I had fun with a really nice guy, but the choice of single guys was a bit thin on the ground for me, I will however visit a few times and hope its a tad busier. Great host behind the bar (Sarah) made us feel very welcome. Give it a try, it is clean and 1000% better than that shitole in Leeds.

Brilliant bar area for relaxing and getting to know folks. A quiet night in mid January but those who were there all played which made for a very horny night. When this place really takes off it will be awesome.

Cannot understand why some comments have said "Avoid" this is a very new club and it is feeling its way and will become a great club in time.

Its modern ,clean good parking and friendly and willing staff who go out of their way to help and advise so how can this be bad?

Went along to this club last night to what was advertised as 'the big one'. There were 5 single guys and us and another couple.....complete waste of time. We have now been to this club 3 times and it doesnt get any better. It is a pity because alot of thought and effort (and money) has gone into this place. But it just does not have the wow factor because it is sooooo quiet.

Well we went for our first visit to A&G's last Night and in a Nutshell great New Club fantastic Facilities and Friendly Nice owners and staff....

It was nicely laid out very clean with varying play rooms and a good bar service.Decent locker area and showers and although not many couples there last night on the run up to Christmas the atmosphere and ambience was excellent which lead on to us having some Horny Sexy Fun with some nice couples.

Looking forward to regular visits in the future well done A&G we love it !!!!

Been reading these reviews and have to say in some cases I'm shocked.

We've been going a while now and as a professional couple we understand you have to give a new club a chance to get established and its getting there!!!!

After all the people make a swingers club what it is, you can have all the fancy what ever but if the clients aren't there or the wrong clients are forget it.

So the place is GREAT the owners and staff lovely, good smoking arrangements outside with a heater, very clean and well laid out play rooms etc. In fact this place makes a lot of well established places look like dumps.

WELL DONE GUYS and ignore the silly reviews above YOU'VE DONE A GREAT JOB and Adele and I will as we are now be regulars.

We were there Sat 14th Nov. for first time. Very good club !! Playrooms are outstanding, very clean and well done out ! Staff were very friendly, also ran into a couple we knew from other clubs.

There were about 9 couples in and 3 single guys. We had a really good night in all ways. Will certainly be back again.

We went to a&g's 14th sat night, we were welcomed and given a tour of the club, was impressed by the cleanliness of the place, all playrooms had air fresheners and paper dispensers. The lockers even had a clean towel and a free condom in there. It was our first visit to a & g's and found it very friendly and relaxed, and although there wasn't many couples, we still enjoyed ourselves. What you have to remember, A & G's haven't been opened that long and word hasn't quite spread about this new club yet, but we feel that it will become a very popular venue in the very near future. It is worth giving it a try, we will definately be returning. If anyone would like to join us, we would be more then happy to meet there for a drink and a chat and see where it takes us. I went to A&Gs on Friday night after reading much positive feedback on here and other sites. I wasn't disappointed.

I was not expecting it to be very busy but was surprised with just how many folk were in. A mixture of mainly couples with some single guys thrown in for good measure, and from chatting to many a very nice bunch they were too.

This is by far the best club I have been to, all credit to the owners who seem lovely too. Any couples wanting to meet up here please PM me.

We went for our second visit last night and fortunatly it was a little busier than last time.

The club is very well designed with excellent lighting, superb rooms and very clean and tidy.The club was very quiet untill around 11 oclock when a few couples began to arrive. Saturday nights is supposed to be couples with "selected" single males but early doors there were 5 males and 3 singles. We do not have a problem with singles but when they are wandering around upstairs fully clothed and coming into the couples only room it spoils the atmosphere, the house rules need to be enforced! All in all an enjoyable evening and we will be going back, hopefully it will be busier and the rules will be enforced

Graham and Neil showed me around all 3 levels and were very helpfull.

Just a great set up with lots of rooms enjoyed the LOFT room best but all the other rooms weer a good size.

we have both been to a&g`s twice now, graham and amanda are the perfect hosts as are all his staff,they both made us feel so welcome and they give the best guided tour for first timers, the club is really up to date and definately has a womans touch to it, the rooms are immaculate and very clean, we both felt so comfortable being there, this place is the new place to be, thanks amanda&graham for making us feel so welcome.

p.s. ask for the bag of toys behind the bar, you will have lots of fun with them.

WOW what a great club...easy to find & very clean alround...Amanda & Graham great hosts & bar staff very socialable & friendly...Van Diesel on the door was a hunk mmmm....great facilities & great to have lockers to put your gear in...bar prices good & lots of variety of hot drinks to be had as well (for the driver lol....my stella was better).. lovely mix of people & made very welcome...nice to have a sprinkling of singles who were very respectful... was well worth the drive & we will definately be back xXx

Very clean, very nice staff and wonderful atomsphere. Great facilities as well and the place has three lockable playrooms which is fantastic. The disco/dance floor room is brilliant as well- we enjoy a good dance with the ladies!

We went on friday night just to see and we were really impressed! - the owners obviously know what people are looking for and try and cater to please the majority. The rooms were spotlessly clean and it would be difficult to find fault. We liked the idea of not having to pay entrance on top of membership for the first night (otherwise it could be cost inhibitive just to go to check it out) and the owners were very personable, making the effort to come and talk to us about the place and what their future plans were. I see no reason why this shouldn't end up being a very popular club as the word spreads.
