	Sadly Utopia epithamises what is wrong with many UK clubs, the venue itself had the potential to be the best club in the UK but it fell foul of many of the problems encountered by clubs here. Lack of investment, allowing good facilities to run down, failing to make improvements to exisiting facilities etc. Typical of this was the inadequate smoking area, despite the length of time allowed by the Government to plan and prepare such things, which then resulted in the club allowing people to smoke in the group play area and only warm play area in the club. Since the day it opened the boiler system has struggled to cope with running the heating, swimming pool, saunna, jacuzzi and steam room all at once and anyone who has been a frequent visitor since the start knows that there was always at least one thing not warm enough, perhaps if they had invested some of the money made during the "hay days" back into a better system people would have returned to the club. The management failed to listen to it's members, when they removed the locks from the private playrooms, when they removed the private playrooms in entirety to turn them into overnight accommodation. this proved to be short sighted, the extra revenue from guest rooms certainly didn't compensate for the amount of people not returning to the club due to lack of play areas, £25 for a room probably lost £60 per room in people not enjoying the club as much as they might have. The disco was hit and miss often not being on when it was supposed to be. The music played by the DJ got many mentions but never changed. Many of the staff were volunteers, magnificent in thier efforts but at the end of the day they were also there to enjoy themselves and often areas were "unmanned" for long periods. Single men were allowed in on Couples Only nights. Single men were allowed in, in groups sometimes creating a "group mentality" way and they could prowl in groups or sit in wait in the jacuzzi, instead of letting things happen (though for the most part most of the guys were extremely well behaved). 	Oh my god!!!!! Never again, There were about 30 couples there about 25 0f these spent the entier night in the room with the fire fully dressed smoking. So if you are looking for a smoking club instead of a swingers club this is the place for you. The pool and jacuzzi were warm though, so warm that when we came out we had to get dressed cos the rest of the place was so cold. We made the mistake of staying, our hearts sank when we saw the room, sank even lower when we found hairs and makeup on the pillows. we slept fully clothed!!!! Never mind now we know and we had a fab time in chams on sat, by far the best club to go to, it was busy, welcoming and friendly as usual. Hope this helps anyone looking for a club in the midlands. 	omg this club is fantastic reading some of the bad reviews i do understanably see your point but it hasnt put me off becasue we were welcomed and at the end of the day this is a place to meet new people and try new things. it was only our second time last night 7th september and we did have a fantastic time. were always nervous before and drive round a few times before pulling in then we go to the lockers and i get dressed up and i have few drinks. we walk around for a bit trying to get a bit more relaxed and then we head to the jaqusi and thats always a laugh it was full of bubbly naughty horny people and we had a great naked laugh. we then went to the couples room and had a fantastic experience., everyone is so welcoming and so lovely it makes you want to go again. there is no pressure to do anythink. I quote try everythink once you might just love it. the women are gorgoues and the men are up for it and thats what makes it relaxi g and fun and you'll always see me hogging the pole! ;-D Date: 8 September 2008

	We have visited Utopia on a number of occasions and each time it has been a pleasure. The staff are friendly and other than once (first time) all facilities have been up and running. The only reason anyone would be cold is because they are boring and not playing with the wonderful clientel that use the place! 	we tried utopia saturday 9th august omggggg!!!! £35.00 to get in!! bit steep we thought but gave it a go. we got there early to be shown around.. mayb we got there too early, we were the first in, shown around, very dark, stumbled a few times as couldnt see, our drinks were put in a very empty mixer fridge and couldnt get access to them as staff were\"getting ready\". sat watching the goldfish for 30 mins, which by this time we were getting bored... still no staff, and no drink... oh but a single man came in... but no couples. gave it another 15 mins and decided to give up... the place was dead and if i am at all honest ,we were really disappointed, it was dead( people will probably say we should have gone later but why open so early if u know it dosnt get busier til later).. lack of staff was annoying, why cant they get ready before they start work, and it smelt damp too.. mayb we have just been treated too good at chams but we really felt that this place did not live up to what it said on the website. we were offered a freebie the next time we went as we walked out after staying just 49 mins...but really cant see us revisiting this club again Date: 12 August 2008

	Been going here for a year now. Met some really nice people. Couples are really friendly. Get a bit fed up with couples who moan about singles we arent all stalkers and we pay through the nose to subsidise couples. I tend to go Thursdays as the people are always friendly, the pool and jacuzzi are excellent and the staff fantastic. will be renewing my membership. Date: 15 July 2008

	We have been going to Utopia for just over 2 years now, Yes it can on some nights be quiet but we have had some great nights there too. I have never replied to a forum before as I can't usually be arsed but feel the need to speak out. My only criticism is me and my partner aren't to keen on all the music (sorry Mr DJ) but apart from that we have always had a good night. We prefer this place to any other club we have been to. I have never replied to a forum before as I can't usually be arsed but feel the need to speak out. My only criticism is me and my partner aren't to keen on all the music (sorry Mr DJ) but apart from that we have always had a good night. We prefer this place to any other club we have been to.

We always feel welcome and would recommend this club to anyone.

	well we tried Utoipa as our 1st club and 1st swingin experience ever and how glad am i, i went there! The friendly atmosphere and amazin facilities really helped us relax and enjoy our nite , we travel over 3 hours to get to Utopia and absolutly love it there we have since tried other clubs but none live up to it and anytime we get the chance to go we will continue to we have heard stories of people stayin dressed (shock horror!!) but as for us and every1 we have met there its always fun and playin times. we couldn't of picked a better place for us to find out what a club is all about.The staff are friendly and very hepfull the facilities where shall i start the open fire was perfect the fact we didnt have to get undressed straight away helped relax us then the pool area the low lights were great and the pool perfect he he. the other areas well the naughty dungeon area we never got that far lol but we will he he. i would recommend this club everytime ty again to all the staff for making our first club visit a very very wonderfull experience and many more to come kelly and tony

We have been going here reguarly for nearly 3 years. During that time, we have experienced good times and bad, changes in management, fantastic attendance, poor attendance and so on. Why the numbers dwindle is a mystery? This is an amazing venue for this lifestyle, an old manor house in the middle of the country with secure, private and discreet parking. Internal facilities of swimming pool and jacuzzi for the water babes amongst us, dark caves, viewing room, couples only room, mixed room all make this place a TOP place to try. Issues regarding cleanliness have been thoroughly and well addressed by the management...the spa area is sooo sexy..We agree with the above comments, you need to give this place a try and not just once, persevere, because the more couples who go means that more couples will go!! We have had some amazing nights here and if you give it a go, we're sure you will too. And you never know, you might see us there! Probably without the masks though!!

this club is the best we go as often as we can, sometimes weekly! Have been going...well i was trying to work it out and i think its about three or four years, begining to feel like a fixture...the facilities are the best we have ever tried, the club is so open and friendly, not pushy and you can wear what you like, you aren't forced to wear a towel and what you do is up to you, some singles on a sat but there is no trouble, one thing you will find is that nearly everyone is a real couple not just fuck buddies which you find at other clubs.

The Dj plays some really great music to get everyone sexy dancing, and a wonderful open fire to play in front of casts a lovely glow on all the naked bodies!

The Staff are amazing and they hold regular site parties for several websites, which are always busy and fab, just email them or check out website or call to find out when they are and until then come and check us out!

Hi we went to utopia a few weeks ago, and were very nervous because it was out first club, but need not have been. It's a very relaxed atomsphere and plently of nice people to play with or not. Must say we really loved the pool ( as we get turned on by haveing sex in a pool anyway). We stayed local and got a taxi to the club and the driver was really nice (knew all about the club lols). We went on the Saturday for couples as we play as a couple, there was only one thing wrong and that was they DID let some single guys in. But just say no and they were ok about it. We can't wait to go back as soon as we have a free weekend. Lok forward to meeting you and new friends there.

WE WENT LAST NIGHT...I WILL BE AS HONEST AS I CAN...WE HAD A BRILL TIME POOL WAS NICE AND WARM JACUZZI WAS NICE AND HOT...MEET SOME OLD FRIENDS THERE AND MADE SOME NEW ONES...WE HAD A GOOD CHAT AND LAUGH IN FRONT OF THE OPEN FIRE...THEN WENT FOR A DIP...AND A PLAY IN THE POOL...THEN WENT IN THE CPLS ROOM AND PLAYED SOME MORE... THE ONLY DOWN SIDE (IF THERE IS ONE)...IT WAS A LITTLE QUIET....BUT IT WAS MID WEEK..WE ALSO HAD A CHAT TO MICK/JANE WHO WERE MORE THAN HELPFULL WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR MORE..SO WE WIL BE GOING BACK AGAIN SOON...AND I SURGEST TO ANYBODY THAT HASNT BEEN....JUST GIVE IT A TRY AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.,.... 	We have been going to utopia for about to 2yearsnow and we have had some great nights there. Yes some nights are quiet but we have had some play even when it is quiet. Staff are always friendly and helpful and Mat (the dj) puts you in the mood with the tunes. We have been to other clubs but Utopia is the best we've been to so far. Date: 11 March 2008
