I had £9.36 credit on my mobile phone before starting to renew my membership via text this morning (8/3/10),I sent the text-however I did not get a text back with the code etc.. The phone is ok for adult lines.
So, after 30 mins, I tried to renew with a phone call via mobile. Getting through ok, I was waiting for the 3 mins. charging period to end when my phone disconnected from the FAB membership line.
I then got a text from Orange saying I had 66p cedit left.
So I have paid FABSWINGERS the £5 text, & an extra £3.76 in phone calls but still have nothing to show for it!!. A total of £8.76.
My silver membership is up in 2 days!!.

Not sure how it cost you a £5 text because you're only charged once you recieve the text back, and you said you didn't recieve it.
As for phoning the premium line, it does clearly state that you must use a BT landline to call.
Anyway, good luck, hope you get it sorted. |

Maybe worthy of explaining:
While the text is "in transit" the balance on your phone may go down temporarily but the charge only ever STICKS on receipt of the PIN. If the text delivery fails for whatever reason the money taken off the balance by your network is immediately put back on.
Hope this explains
