We've made some improvements to how blocks work.

If you block someone they can no longer see your profile (and you can no longer see theirs).

We've also added a new "Block User" link to profile pages to make it easier to block people.

Any feedback let us know here.

Does this mean that you cannot unblock a blocked profile

Only one big snag....

I know someone has us blocked... Now we have no way to block them so as they can't see our pics can we??

We always wanted that feature.. but left them unblocked so as to see how many times they were looking etc..

How can we now block them now please...

Goto "my account", the "block list" on left hand side then you can enter a username.

It looks like it is a hit going by the thread in the lounge , add that to being able to hide your friends list, they are great new additions

We do agree that this new feature is commendable but:

The automatic message (*below) could possibly cause confusion or misunderstandings.

*There are problems with this profile and it cannot currently be displayed!

At present those that click a profile that have them blocked may simply assume that these people are in some way a problem, as the automatic message suggests just that. Especially as the above message was/is used for those that are indeed suspected of being a problem case.

Is there a reason that the site message cannot simply say - "this member has you blocked" - as it did when previous message attempts were made when a site user had you blocked ?

Sin, we've kept it ambiguous on purpose.

How come.....

People who are on my block list still appear in "who's looked at me?".

Is it because they "tried" to look? and hopefully failed?

Yes they'll just see the "profile unavailable" message but they shouldn't appear anyway so we'll look at fixing this
