 | We have visited many clubs over the last year & always give a fair & honest review of any club we visit but with this one is difficult without coming across as being too negative, perhaps we've just been spoilt by other venues that we've used, it's not the best but not the worst either - positives are it's really easy to get to just off the A303, directions are spot on & there's plenty of parking & good access,we parked beside another large motorhome tucked up in the corner & still left plenty of room, by 9pm there were only 5 other vechiles in the carpark so we knew it wasn't going to be busy.
The venue itself is in what looks like some converted cow sheds on a farm with access at the rear, lots of signage about no mobile phones in the venue they must be left in your vechile, dispite good communication with the organiser on entering we found the lady on the door who took our money to be quite gruff, no welcoming smile or small talk, going past reception into the bar area the first thing that hits you is the smell of damp, dispite being warm with loads of electric fan heaters going it's unmistakable- the floor is really badly uneven and several times we found ourselves while navigating the venue stumbling, another elderly lady gave us quick 2 min tour of what was on offer but was quite abrupt & not overly friendly especially in the way she informed us that no drinks are to be taken anywhere, we knew it was a byo bar & so came armed with a bottle of wine,there's a fridge to put your drink in to keep cool if you wish, I politely asked at the bar if I could have a glass only to have a a finger point at a stack of white plastic cups,so had to go back to my MoHo to get a wine glass,(every other venue we've attended with byo supplies glasses) we chatted with 2 other couples a a Tgirl all whom were very pleasant to chat with,but the few other regulars that were there weren't over friendly,by 10:30 there were a few other single guys around that made no effort to interact, the facilities are fairly basic for a venue with a definite lack of lockable playrooms which is unfortunate & allows for which we observed, single guys to stand in the orgy room or other playrooms fully dressed just watching the action, we didn't join in as we would have almost felt like performing seals so by 11:30
Decided to retire back to our motorhome,closely followed by our neighbours & by midnight the car park was empty all bar one car for us personally we had read the other reviews that sounded so positive but tbh the club for us was a low 4/10 & we wouldn't return
