I go North Yorkshire moors way or to the Coast. Or there is a long run down to Cafe Faun or William woods down A631. does have the pain of average speed camera though good for an early morning run before the traffic

If you like the peak district, Grindleford station cafe. Bacon butty you get 4 bits of bacon in a large breadcake for the same price of other cafes,and you can get a pint pot of coffee. Lots of great roads around it too.
