We stayed there last year. Be prepared to be packed in like sardines. We didn't take an awning so had a van literally half a metre either side of us. If you take an awning you get loads of space. (Lesson definitely learned) the showers and toilets are at one end. They are actually a pretty decent standard and get cleaned regularly. The campsite have a bar and a stage for music. Its about a 15 minute walk to the actually race track

We do Woodlands every year mainly for the entertainment and the location to the track.

midlands, but travel to clubs

This is the 1st gp since 2006 we wont be attending. The farce to get a few cans into track, though we did get some in all 3 days last year, then it was similar in woodlands, with 2 drink limit into entertainment area. Plus the atmosphere was flat, it was pretty dead. The was hardly any merch stalls in the circuit either. Yes, we know theyd moved dates, and its back to august, but cant be arsed feeling like a criminal for a few tins if beer, only for them to be the criminals for charging £8 nearly, A pint, in plastic cups, after a 45 minute wait

Woodlands again for me this year.

It has got worse over the recent years especially last year regarding no alcohol into the circuit but not a deal breaker as I’ll have plenty back at the campsite and once in the circuit I’m there to watch the bikes.

All the mech stalls were at the far end of the circuit all in one area and a display area for stunts etc

I like the music at woodlands. Is there entertainment at Dadfield road as I can’t see any mention of it on their website ?

No, you can get back into the circuit for that. I like it because there's lots of space to spread out. It's nice and chilled
