Good routes North of Manchester

New to the area, need a couple routes coming out from North Manchester. Cruiser rider (just getting back into biking after an accident).

Com’on ppl give us a hand, cheers in advance.

head upto squires through the trough of bowland.not sure in exact route i just know it while im on it.or head south through stockport and on to buxton/ashbourne and onto matlock bath .sat/sun matlock is mega busy with bikes

I'm not familiar on north Manchester routes but like _ikerswing says south Manc is good. I guess from your location you could head to Ashton, Stalybridge, Glossop, Chapel-e-l-f, Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock. Some good swinging bends out there lol

There's loads of roads heading into the Dales and Lakes from north Manchester.

Try Hawes on a Sunday for example.

Get your gear on, fill the tank and just go and explore!
