pay to chat!

seems an odd move to make people pay to chat as admin already ask people to get picture verified and chatters can get cam and in person veris from other members i think this could make the chat rooms very quiet |

I have also been on here for a long time, much of which has been as a Gold Site Supporter. This time around I did not renew because the site seemed to be in decline. I intend to renew my SS again to see if this change has made a positive or a negative impact. I will then post an honest opinion in the forum |

I've been on here for over 15 years. Became a paid member, but didn't see the benefits really.
Plus, my fun is in the chat rooms.

I think it can be a good idea if it deters the scammers, fakers and pests that keep making new profiles and harassing people in the chat rooms.
There's one guy we have blocked about 8 times now, he keeps making new profiles and just harassing every woman or couple in there and being so disgusting too! |

I think cutting chat off to everyone bar site supporters is a bad move, I get why theynhave done this thkugh, as mentioned above, gets rid od the scammers, pests, trolls etc.
But I think it should be limited to people who have beenon this site for over a set period of time, so people cant make up new profiles to harrass members, or allow those who have been site supporters before tomuse the chat futures, Ive been a site supporter a few times, but I dont always renew it.

It’s overdue. The cam rooms have been overrun with trolls and people just abusing the function, including being abusive abs threatening to others. At least this way people can be held more accountable. |

what I am beginning to like about this change, is the recognition of the site that there now is far too many fakes (idiots), could say a lot worse, that ruin it for the genuine users of Fab, so i really do hope it is a move in the right direction x |

BidYin/Cowgirl-You were def one of the good couples on fab. I had paid to be a site supporter in the past but resources are not unlimited. I hope that the bad actors are diminished but I think some good folks are going to also be eliminated from this change. |

We hadn't seen this but assume it means you need to be a site supporter. Bearing in mind recent and ongoing BBC reporting plus other forum threads on here calling for better ID verification for users safety, maybe this goes some way towards this as any payment comes with a paper trail. |

Disappointed with this..... tbh but I can see why, unfortunately for me I don't see any benefit in becoming a site member.
I was a site member previously for years on an older profile which I was part of a couple & deleted |

This is a real shame, my FwB and I cam on here whenever we are together, with plenty of veris to show we are genuine but we won’t be paying to be a site supporter as the benefits for us don’t out way the cost.
Really disappointed with this change.
Admin say long standing accounts aren’t affected but we’ve only been on here a year, but are plenty active on cams. Shame they can’t look at a few things to verify genuine people on here rather than just cut off the chat room facility.
Oh well, we shall find other sites to chat on instead. It was fun while it lasted!  |

Agree, great shame they just cut off the chat facility, Like you had made great friends and like to cam with them. But having been site supporter once it kept crashing and did not really offer us any benefits,so cancelled.
So unless they revert shall move on, suppose all good things come to an end. One day they will wake up and count how many members they lost and poor reviews they got

Can you argue cost of living crisis the reason for having to pay to chat ,with all these other platforms has it diluted FAB membership and revenue not sure I have noticed more s/males have joined causing havoc hehe...
The way they have done it has not been good was chatting 1 minuet then the next I need to pay... I have been here a very long time and it's not got any easier in finding meets but I am still here and still send replies ...I too am a long term member still unable to access chat |

I personally think all members should be site supporters after all what is £5 for 2 months silver subscription it will cost you almost a fiver for a coffee out!!,then maybe it will stop a lot of the guys that use fab as there personal porn site and stop some of the verbal abuse that goes on from the keyboard warriers also photo verification should be face only for every one on fab to stop the false accounts being made eg single males making cpls acc etc!!...we need to bring back the fab days we used to have chatting banter getting to know a bit about each other before a social some on here cut out any chat and go straight for you want a fuck!!! ... |

I thought I was missing something but apparently not. Anyone accessing the site has a mobile phone, or an iPad (other brands are available) and an internet connection but hasn't got 11p per day. If things are really that tight I get it but why expect to get everything for nothing...it has to be paid for somehow. |

I’ve been on here over 15 years and verified from day 1 and as a married guy whose wife does’t know (no judgements please) I’d find it difficult to pay. I don’t use chat that much but when I’m away working I find it a nice distraction so yes I’d miss it… |
