Maybe they should have sponsorship's by local swinging clubs, Club regulars might start coming in a bit more chatting about up coming events and it also could encourage people to start going to clubs,

I spent 2 years in Northern Chat (that aint bad for a southerner) but it was the best room and at times the most controversial haha...smushy forgot to mention my fav character of em all...Sexy Sunders!! Them were the days eh...    |

Northern room was one of the if not the best room on fab but it was spoilt when personal dramas were aired out causing bloody mayhem n bad blood
if we are gonna try this coz I will be going back in there n doing my thing n posting I am in statuses it would be great if we all brought our fun banter heads n left the dramas for the trolls

I used to be in the northern room a few years ago had a brief time there and had some great chats with people everyone was so friendly. Met 2 people from there too. Now I’ve returned old account is gone and starting from scratch again it would be great to make some new friends. And see the northern room be reborn like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. “Sorry don’t know where that came from” |

For any room to work there needs to be established people who can stay in and set the tone.
People like to see "good to see you again" and engaging with newbies so that people stay for longer than it takes to click through the open cams.

A lot of the regional rooms (definitely the northern one) seem to go through phases.
1. It'll be dead.
2. It'll gain a small friendly silly community of people who become friends.
3. It'll seem quite welcoming and chatty.
4. Cliques start to appear.
5. You get the self appointed matriarch leaders of the room.
6. They cause drama with other people who have been using the rooms just as long for some BS reason getting into each others business or jealousy.
7. Nothing is ever light hearted.
8. A few of the fun original ones now retire from that room or chat because it's all become too much work and bloody miserable.
9. Everyone left eventually abandons ship to general, directing or another region.
10. Some time passes...
11. New blood and back to step 1. |

I used to go in the northern room when I first joined fab. Found it hard to break in to the cliques, especially if they were already in full flow, but a few used to say hello. Banter was always good, even if just watching from the sidelines. |

Met my wife in the northern room.
I was jim 53 she was plastic scouser that was 6 yrs ago we got married 2 yrs ago.
I pop in some days in the mornings.
For lots of the old crowd life has moved on. |

I met my partner Mr Everready in the Northern room. Been together 2yrs 3 months now.
And to think there's swingers out there who say love and feelings should be kept out of it. X |

Well this died a death. Just like northern room. Looks like people have moved on with their lives. Maybe the under current of drama is still there. General seems the room of choice and relatively drama free. |

We go in northern chat when we joined then stopped for a while but we loved it but now it’s seemed to have changed a lot. Shame really as we like to have a laugh and banta. But some have ruined it |
