Cant view cams at all in chat rooms.
I have got latest flash version... allowed local flash storage/access...
allowed site access on firewall...
no antivirus scan for this site...
have cleared cookies...
have cleared temp internet files
no pop-up blocker...
still no good cant see cams
what can i try now ?

We dont use a webcam but flash works on other sites ok. Had problems sending messages in rooms but pm messages in chat work ok ? Dont think our cam has to work for us to receive cam from others ? |

No I wasn't suggesting that you needed to have a cam to view other, just that

as both broadcasting and viewing use Flash. Is yours up to date?

We have this same problem when using Internet explorer, however if we sign in using google chrome everything works fine.
I'm no tech geek and can't explain what difference is between explorer or chrome and why cams work on OS and not the other. |

ok,,im just finishing up a rebuild of a laptop to sell,,its being picked up tomorrow,,and flash is the one im having problems with,,and there is a section on adobes site refering to problems,,not with ie8 or mozilla or chrome but with xp and linux and mac os,so if i find any hints il repost here |

sometimes experience that if click to list by "active cams" some blanks appear down the list ... you can tell from the chat activity that the cam is working yet no icon to click on 
does this mean the user has too many viewers already?? |

No, I think it means that the user has blocked you."
Although sometimes, people's cam icon just disappears after they've started chatting. When this happens, chatters who have already 'docked' that cam can still see it, but no-one new can start to view it. If you can still see their text in chat, you're not blocked, so you can ask them to reload chat, which usually brings back their cam icon  |

We're still no nearer solving out prob with cams either, can see in old chat but when trying to dock in new chat the box just goes blank, ive removed chrome and reinstalled it, tried using explorer still no good, but have noticed winks in msn not working now either which im sure is a flash issue, but apparently i have the latest version downloaded so it wont let me download another version  |

Ok finally got my cam working so try this. download free www.manycam.com once you have done it go into cam settings on the site and click the dropdown and then click manycam. Hope this will get you sorted out, it has worked for me. if you need help just ask |
