Will clubs really be the same post lockdown

Everyone's saying that they're looking forward to returning to their particular club of choice..... But will things really be the same as they were before lockdown?

What about social distancing when a single guy's looking to get the nod from a couple playing on the bed??

I think some swingers will be so very nervous about returning until at least we find a vaccine. As a result, I'm sorry to say I see some previously busy establishments going under and that's a massive shame.

I don't think clubs will be the same when they are allowed to open. But at least there shouldn't be as much of unwanted/uninvited touching

Yeah they will be the same. Because I'm an optimist and love my field trips to attend swingers clubs

Once there's a vaccine of some sort, people will start getting confident that it'll be safe to go.

Just a week before lockdown the clubs were still going strong as well (didn't attend myself, but know of a few people who had a brilliant time at SX in Blackpool and CJs in Glasgow that weekend). This virus was already pretty bad here then and most of Europe in lockdown. Didnt stop people going then.

We'll have to wait a while, I certainly have no intention going before a vaccine is ready, but no doubt things will get back to normal x

i cant see a answer to this one,

i think that people will have to decide if they still want to swing again after corona or not

.

there is no end of this in sight until we get a vacine ,

and you cant self distance when you are playing,

i am looking forward to meets again when this is over, but i can see allot of people that will be to afraid,

you only have to look at how some people shit themselves when they get near you in a supermarket, can we realy see them playing any time soon ?

We will and queue up 2 meters apart outside to get in and have hand sanitizer with tape all over the floor that everyone will ignore judging by my last trip to Tesco.

Oh yeah Tesco... nobody follows the one way system with arrows in the aisles. Staff constantly saying wrong way... people backing up trolleys. It's chaos out there.

Nothing will be the same. It's never going to be normal business resumes for anything till a proven vaccine is available. Nip it in the bud properly or risk a deadly second wave...

Yes some people will want to go in, get involved if certain doors open... but that is a choice each individual/business will have to make after some of the restrictions have been eased...

Cor blimey!! Cabin fever!!

This is bloody brilliant haha.

I think they will probable have to reduce the amount of people they let in as per government laws and perhaps come up with some sort of entrance test at least measuring the temperature of those attending. On the other hand by now most of the population is quite likely to have been in contact with the virus and developed immunity for it however for those with risk factors I would not recommend going to clubs until there is a vaccine or a proper treatment for it.

Question is how long will you live nervously with the fear of catching coronovirus or say sod it I'm going...when aids hit did it stop swinging ? Has the new strains of antibiotic resistant sti's stopped playing the answers no, we live with the fear for so long then back to living life and enjoying it not waiting for what if. So yes initially there maybe a drop in numbers attending over a month of so but then will be back to normal or maybe actually increase as weve noticed more new profiles as people discover the virtual side of swinging and join fab...will the chat rooms and cams satisfy them after lockdown ?? We think not..we will definitely be attending clubs when they open..

One things for sure clubs will be at the very back of the queue when it comes to reopening. They are not exactly essential services in the eyes of the government.

It will take time but eventually clubs will get back to how they were.If regular club goers go back to their regular club or try a different club they will want to have the same sort of enjoyment they had before lockdown. The two questions that spring to my mind are how many feel safe going back to the clubs and playing and how many clubs are going to be left because I feel we are going to lose clubs along the way.

Would you really go to a club after this ?

Don't know who is in there and who has been there touching whatever.

Getting into close contact with others on surfaces which you don't know have been sterilized ?

Come on ! Be realistic.

Until there is a cure and a vaccine few people will take that chance.

Private houses with known trusted people will be the only way for a long time to come.

The problem is that social distancing is here to stay for a long time and social distancing measures introduced at bars, restaurants cinemas etc will mean hugely reduced capacity with club owners having to maybe halve their number of tables etc, requiring 2m markers around them, possibly even perspex dividers, whilst telling their customers not to mix with each other.

Local authorities will apparently enforce these rules. They didn't exactly have time for clubs before all this so what chance now?! The clubs sadly gone for years

I think it is going to be the regeneration of the house party. Many clubs will close so people will revert back to the good old days. Smaller numbers and more easily vetted. But at the end of the day bodily contact is the name of the game so for a long time yet, this is going to be a high risk past time.

we do all breath and have to use door handles etc though or for example, when out shopping is everything sterile that we touch?? I've seen a lot of people on here saying they will go to house party's etc with people they trust, which is all well and good ,but how do you know who of your friends/lovers have been in contact with someone who is carrying it? lots of people are asymptomatic after all.

If a vaccine becomes available will the government offer badges for those have been done? That would incentivise people to get jabbed at their own expense because the badge would indicate your safe. Could be colour coded for date of issue and renewed annually. Sort of like a covid tax. You only get in to club with current badge.

I think the people suggesting that clubs are going to be allowed to re-open with social distancing measures etc are kidding themselves.

Clubs will be allowed to re-open when all lockdown measures are removed, I would be amazed if that is this year, I personally think we’d be very fortunate to even see this 12 months on from now.

It’s a horrible time for club/establishment owners but I think the reality is we’ll all be doing private meets and small parties etc well before they are given the green light.

Hello,

Regard our customers at Jacuzzi Club, the feed back from our members is they want a return as soon as possible. This is of course safety dependent.

We had before lockdown, checks in place on clientele and this will continue. We are also lucky in that we have ozone and sanitizer manufacturing plants at the club and have a plentiful supply of agents for cleaning.

The other issue for us is the issue of international visitors who won't be able to get flights into the country and if they do would be quarantined!! This has affected us as much as anyone else!!!

Yup and they are all doing so under ‘social distancing’, as soon as people are in close proximity or touching it’s almost impossible to guard against infection.

The super market argument is flawed, it’s a space you move through therefore you may be exposed to the virus numerous times during a trip but the chances of taking in enough material is far less than being sat next to someone with the virus for a period of time, sharing a room or space etc, then add in snogging/fucking them etc and it’s a whole new game.

No politician is gonna support nightclubs reopening anytime soon nevermind swinging establishments. Even if a vaccine was discovered tomorrow it’s likely 12 months before that’s tested for approval and manufactured in great enough quantity for public consumption.

As with a lot of sectors the swinging world is likely to have a very different shape in the immediate future.

It’s pretty simple, it’s a highly infectious virus spread through most means, touching surfaces etc as you imply but top of that list is ‘airborne’.

Any environment where people are spending time in prolonged close proximity is top of that list... you can apply the same thinking to gyms, hairdressers etc. People spending 30 minutes or whatever In the same space will create a cloud of infection in the air of that space if they are positive, people then occupying the same space for a decent amount of time are almost certain to take in enough infectious particles to gain the virus. In a club for instance, one couple using the room early on in an evening can have the virus and are almost certain to infect everyone using it after them regardless of what surfaces are wiped and how thoroughly as actually the air is the biggest issue.

That’s a much higher exposure risk than walking through an aisle that an infected shopper has passed. You’re right, places they have touched are also dangerous if you failed to sanitise hands then touch your face etc but you can at least take preventive measures against that.
