Just seen angels cinema will reopen albeit people will need to wash hands, have temperature taken, leave contact details and wear a mask.

Angels reopening on the 4th July. To be fair, having seen the parks, social distancing gone out the window.

The attics being repainted and they've altered the maze into 4 or 5 new rooms/areas while it's closed due to lockdown,as they don't have an alcohol licence like other none alcohol/food licenced adult clubs they can't open yet.As the attic is 2 entities 1 being an adult club and 1 being an adult cinema the council has said they can open the cinema only but with a 1m+ social distancing, wearing face masks etc.hence play not allowed and they would struggle to let 10 people into the cinema and i guess thats not financially viable, this is not an official statement from management but an employees view of the situation at the moment.

Has the maze permanently gone, or will it be back once the situation is completely over?

its gone, theres the centre bed room with glory holes still there & the other glory hole room but no through corridors, instead they've built 3 new playrooms, should be dimly lit and was talk of a television in 1 of those rooms to be added.

Some info when they're likely to reopen would be good. Seems like we're not being kept in the loop.

have been in regular touch with the council and been told not yet till government guide lines permit and have been told our license is at risk if anyone was caught in any state of undress so safety of our customers comes first over money

This is the latest news re the attic:-

As with other cinemas the council/trading standards have said the attic cinema could open up again with current guidelines in place as long as everyone stays dressed, so no nudity (meaning no bits & bobs on show),however as the vast majority of customers attend the cinema are looking to play with either themselves or others the management has decided the temptation to play would put our customers and our licence at risk. Its the clubs paramount intention to keep our customers safe during this pandemic so we will not be opening until the guidelines/rules change.

A fair and honest assessment.

I do t think anyone could argue with that decision. Excellent that you are putting health before undoubtably much needed profit at the moment.

As much as we're soooo looking forward to seeing the club open and meeting friends I think that the choice to keep everyone safe and protect your licence is a good one, we look forward to the reopening once its safe to do so and have an absolute blast of a night xxx
