Another blow to the club scene.

If the government does announce that face masks are to be maniditory in shops then the logical extrapolation to this is that the chances of night clubs opening anytime soon is minimal to say the least, which in turn must surely mean that swing clubs have absolutely no chance of opening beyond the current socials that the rules currently allow....

Night clubs and swingers clubs are a different classification to each other so you can't compare.

Maybe the government let them reopen for specialist medical fetish nights; where everyone wears masks gloves and full PPE? X

"Night clubs and swingers clubs are a different classification to each other so you can't compare."

My point as regards nightclubs is that nightclubs are most likely to be opened before swing clubs.

While I dislike the whole idea of masks - I guess people have no real choice as they have to visit shops and in some cases have to use public transport.

You don’t have to visit a pub or restaurant in the same way you don’t have to visit a swingers club. So no masks required as you are there by choice.

Pubs and bars are excluded so clubs will be okay, which proves that the so called "changing science" on airborne covid partials masks is complete bullshit.

Its all because they and the media have managed to scare folks shitless into going shopping and can't get them out of the house

Sadly I'm beginning to think the whole scene is gonna go. Maybe it will go underground but if face masks are mandatory in shops, I just can't see a way foward

We don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing- at least until they re open — more like house parties in select bubbles xx

I feel like it's all over for us, everyone keeps saying winter will be even worse. It's sad and feel so sorry for club owners. I just can't see a social in a club really working but each to their own.

Restrictions will vary as time goes by. Masks may stop for a while or be needed for different places etc. I'd not assume that a mask would be added for a swinging club, when they aren't now, or for pubs.

Keep an open, positive mind and wait to see at the time.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Wearing masks in shops and like should have been made mandatory from the start. The daft thing is, and I`ll admit to NOT wearing one because they were either simply not available then, were available at a ridiculous price (profiteering) or such poor quality you just as well not bothered.

Because of this I did my best to keep clear of people where possible when shopping, only to find I had those who were wearing masks reaching behind me to get items off the shelves whilst I was waiting to get to where I wanted or they weren`t even wearing their masks properly. It seems that if they had a mask on they were either invincable or they were "entitled". I saw one elderly lady with her mask pulled down under her nose! Somone said it was like having your cock out over the waistband of your boxers!

It's only all over for now. It's difficult to see past it, and it may be a long road but there will still be around and ready to open in time.

Even if the virus comes back with vengeance this winter as predicted, it's not further delaying our clubs reopening as normal, as we aren't anywhere near that stage anyway.

Surely a swing club is the same as a private club !

I supposed clubs with an alcohol license could just call themselves a pub but I assume that with some common sense I.e showering before the pool, nobody with a persistent cough or temperature and hand hygiene all could be just fine.

Regarding showering before the pool, swimming pools have told bathers to wear their swimsuits under their clothes, not use the changing room or showers and get straight in the pool.

I've always said and I'm not an expert or a club owner the earliest will be NYE!!

Depending on how winter goes. I mean theres evidence to suggest covid may have been here last winter no one knows. And no one knows how it will play out!!

We just have to wait and see sadly!!

Yes it's a massive blow and we are really missing the lifestyle a lot now. However, safety is the issue here.

I think the reality is until flu season we will see minor tweaks to lockdown, that’s a very important ‘Unkown’ for the science to navigate and until that time risk will likely be managed quite carefully.

The new rule coming into effect on the 24th states you will need to wear one in a confined space so that may change. How you eat or drink while wearing one is the question?

It's not going to be needed in bars and restaurants, just shops and public transport

I’m pretty sure a club in Leeds was open last week, saw lots of status updates saying “ heading over to .......club tonight” could have been a hoax but saw at least 10-15 profiles say it.

Are swingers private clubs covered with the pub guidance as the clubs have contact details for track and trace.

I went to my local Cricket Club last weekend and not one single hot wife was getting roasted never mind DP’d

The forums have details of loads of clubs that are open for socials only. They can open as a bar only if they think it is safe and financially viable to do so.

hiding from cock pics.

I believe track and trace is optional, customers can opt out of leaving their details if they wish, and it is is guidance for venues to offer to collect track and trace details but I don't believe it is mandatory.

Everything is a guidance. This is why it is being interpreted differently across the board and there's no consistency

Can clubs hold BDSM events now. We are struggling to see how it will work without being less than 1 meter apart. Sorry for asking , we are new to the scene and have been looking at the forums for a little while, and you guys seem to be the voice of reason and tell them how it is

No not really. Clubs could hold a BDSM munch (a social for likeminded fetishists) but obviously the number of people would be limited. We normally get upto 60 people at our munch and we can't accommodate those numbers and socially distance. As for play events, no these cannot go ahead. I'm pretty good at crackng someone's ass with a long tailed single whip, but there's so much more to BDSM and getting up close and personal is part of the scene. There are issues around cleaning equipment properly after each scene, spacing out to allow safe play, enough space for people to watch scenes, only allowing couples who live together to play....it's a minefield and Ii wouldn't feel comfortable allowing BDSM events until social distancing is lifted altogether.
