We received a message this morning from a guy who said he's new to the scene, looking to chat etc and has only just started playing which was last week when he went to a club. He told us what went on there. We were shocked! He alledges that there were many people playing outside on the grass and in the fields and he had several couples in his cabin throughout the night.

Interesting!

So obviously some clubs are allowing play with not just ones own partner - despite government regulations etc

You've been pretty vocal in your condemnation of clubs re-opening and knocking anyone discussing play at all.

Interesting status today....or are you after a game of croquet or similar?

Just out of curiosity - do you take to task anybody not observing social distancing, not wearing masks where they are required , people in your locality who might over the course of the lockdown period breached legislation/government advice ? Have you written to the media condemning the hoards of people who flocked to the beaches and who weren’t observing social distancing ? Have you gone into any public buildings and if they aren’t reinforcing social distancing or the wearing of masks have you approached the person in charge and identified to them that they might have a responsibility to do so ? Can you say hand on heart that you’ve done everything by the numbers in relation to doing your best not to add to the issue/spread the virus ? And as another poster has commented on - your status might suggest you’re looking for a meet ?

Without having either the time nor the inclination to trawl through all the threads about clubs reopening, and working only from memory - it does appear that you have featured quite prominently on threads about clubs reopening and I don’t recall actually seeing a positive post from yourselves about it - most seem quite accusatory. It might beg the question that you have an issue with clubs - either one particular club or clubs in general ?

Purely curiosity and observations on my part.

All irrelevant. One club appears to be hiding the fact that play is happening against government regulations . They risk being closed down permanently and you condone such a complete disregard of the law ?

Tbf.... if it’s in fields and not in the actual club, just the grounds you would have to check where the licensing boundary finishes.

Quick get your sandwich board out in town tomorrow night at start preaching to the horny people getting d*unk & hooking up, or wait what about tinder, grinder, bumble, POF etc do you really think that sex between “strangers” has stopped over lockdown, you are deluded.

Literally know my friends are all back at it, it's not just clubs but like you said all these apps and just random nights in pubs instead of night clubs. They've made it sound like law isn't being broken as a standard.

What part of my posting condoned anything ? And I don’t believe it’s irrelevant - surely the old adages “people in glass houses” and “let them without sin cast the first stone” would resonate. I merely postulated that if you are going to be publicly critical (some might say accusatory) on a public forum then you need to be able to look in the mirror and with genuine honesty respond “yes” to the questions I asked. If not then might I suggest that it could be deemed hypocritical to criticise others.

Also you negate your own statement that the items in my posting were irrelevant when you accused me of condoning people breaking the law. It is law to wear masks in places such as supermarkets, unless there is a medical exemption not to do so. During lockdown various items of legislation were brought in making breaches of them an offfence which could be dealt with by way of a fixed penalty notice or being put before a court. Therefore I would question your motivation to “pick and choose” which breaches of law you believe relevant or irrelevant.

Another question which might be prompted is have you personally witnessed the breaking of the law by the “one club”, or is it purely hearsay ?. Perhaps you personally don’t have an issue with the venue in question, but the person(s) who have given this information may well have - and having seen your posting trends on the subject matter then have considered yourselves a perfect foil to attack the establishment - perhaps a case of “people making bullets for you to fire”. ?

So to summarise - there is no evidence of me “condoning” anything (feel free to post an apology

), I do not believe my points are irrelevant because you are condemning breaking of the law and the examples I gave are also offences in law, and old adages can be very appropriate, and that you may be going on hearsay evidence as opposed to having witnessed it yourselves.

I look forward to your well thought out and balanced repost

There's house parties and private meets going on up and down the country. People have hit the 'fuck it' button. If people are playing in the grounds of a club, then that's their prerogative. I'm just so tired of the bitching, the sniping, the ooohhh look what they're doing. To be quite frank, I've long lost the ability to give a fuck what other people are doing. It's like being back at school and telling the teacher that Bob and Laura were kissing behind the science lab!

The club might be turning a blind eye, so what? Just leave clubs alone and if the authorities don't like what they're doing, then they'll close them down. That's they're problem, not ours or yours.

People fuck, whether it's in a park, a car, a house party, a friends home or a club. Just leave them to their business and concentrate on living and enjoying your life rather bitching on some fuckin swinging forum. Do you know how sad that looks? You've bitched about and to clubs from the minute this thing started and it's just fuckin tedious now.

Look around you! Most of the country think this thing is over and people are doing what they want! Bitching about it on here won't stop anyone.

I agree, people shouldn't be fucking strangers. The same as people shouldn't be crowding around the deli counter in Tesco or standing shoulder to shoulder in beer gardens and rifling through the sales rail in Next in a crowd of bargain starved consumers. But they are. Who knows what the result will be of all this frivolity but I'm not going to moan about it here. It is what it is.

Definition of ‘GOSSIP’ from Merriam Webster

1. a person who habitually reveals personal or sensational facts about others

2. rumor or report of an intimate nature

Definition of ‘GOSSIP’ from Collins Dictionary

1. To talk informally, especially about other people or local events.

2. Someone who enjoys talking informally to people about the private affairs of others

Definition of ‘GOSSIP’ from Oxford Dictionary

1. A conversation about other people; an instance of gossiping.

2. Casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people.

Sharing second hand information about other people is the very definition of gossip. Factual or not makes no difference.

Who cares?! “People involved in breaking lockdown rules” isn’t exactly headline news - although if you throw the word ‘Swingers’ in there, the S*n would probably print it

Unless Dominic Cummings is having an orgy to test his hearing. You might get a bit more interest then. People live to gossip about politicians

Well said! This particular poster has been a constant throughout this pandemic particularly about clubs. It’s bordering on the obsession, someone at a club has seriously upset this couple. There is definitely some sort of vendetta you only have to click on the tell tale green arrow.

"There's house parties and private meets going on up and down the country.

"Iv been to _tasia a few times and absolutely no play is happening its purely socialising, they wouldn't risk there licence for that to be happening

Nope but some clubs aren't abiding by the law!

And some individuals are still meeting, just like your status advertises.

We meet privately with social distancing in case you are concerned!"

And it's good of you to change your status to show this. Otherwise yoy are coming across as a hypocrite cos your status definitely implied you were after a play meet.

"I must admit all this talk makes me uncomfortable. I do get concerned that dishing the dirt on what some are up to could be quite damaging for the scene.

But spreading the disease you are obviously comfortable with?!

And very well observed indeed. It always surprises me how many hypocritical people there are on this site. At the moment it's hard to find two scientists who agree on anything, the government are and have been in total confusion about everything the schools go back the week after next and in reality from that point on there is no real point in lockdown. If people are scared and want to live their life in a bubble of their own do so - but don't criticise others for choosing to live within their own factored risk perameters. Yes it's true living can damage your health!

Personally don’t agree with people meeting strangers to have sex if it a club, party or private, we have gone above and beyond to keep ourselves and everyone else safe since March missing out on so many adventures and now we see post after post on here for people wanting to meet now and also get messages to meet now, more so than the last two years, like there’s a mass desperation to meet for sex, people even asking are we not bored and frustrated trying to push us into meeting... really? We are kind of hoping to have a life to enjoy for some time to come and not just a few hours. Each to their own obviously but not for us, understand people have to make a living and the clubs have been severely impacted but so have the airlines and we would much rather travel but we can’t.

So what is your motivation for being so negative about clubs. You posting on a sex site about what strangers chose to do will have zero effect on the spread of the virus. You are advertising for meets, you changed it to say social distanced (no mention of this before), so how is you apparently playing within the rules any different to clubs operating within the rules.

Again in case you missed it - so what is your motivation for being so negative about clubs?

Our meets are social distanced, not that it's any of your business. What is your motivation for condoning disregard for rules and regulations. No, we won't go back to clubs (and yes we've been to many) until it is deemed' 'safe' to do so. If people want to attend and support clubs then great but as the couple above say, playrooms in some clubs are open and playing is happening so let's not pretend that all clubs are adhering to social distancing rules. The vast majority are I'm sure, but there appear to be some that don't.

You do however appear to have either “missed” the queries about your status which appeared to indicate you were looking for a meet?. Of course you will no doubt retort that it was going to be socially distanced and not involve any contact with the other person(s) whatsoever. But then people would only have your word for that - as they would not be witnessing it themselves. Would your thought process be that seeing as you believe what people say without supporting evidence then everybody should do the same with you? Or, do private meets outside of clubs not come with the same degree of moral indignation from yourselves that you appear to levy towards clubs ?

And naturally you expect everybody to believe your statement without supporting evidence. Yet you spout accusatory statements about what is going on in clubs, based apparently on “what you’ve been told”.

You say it’s none of anybody’s business if your meets are socially distanced - and yet you are making it YOUR business to be accusatory about others. Your every retort seems to reinforce that you have an issue with clubs, or perhaps one in particular. You appear to have no evidence other than hearsay, say what you do is nobody’s business - and yet set yourself up as the moral majority. That is hypocritical and looking at the numerous negative posts on forums from yourselves you come across as troll.

One of your previous responses said I condoned the breaking of rules - I asked you to evidence where I’d condoned it - not once have I condoned it. Our play is EXCLUSIVELY at clubs and we won’t go to one until it’s considered relatively safe to do so ( nothing in life is 100 % safe ). Again - please highlight where I have condoned anything. What I have brought into question is your apparent regular negativity and accusations towards clubs which ARE open, and whether or not you can actually evidence your comments or, as another poster has put, that you are merely being a gossip.

Townhousetwosome put absolutely perfectly!

Adults can make their own decisions and weigh up their own risks surely? So fed up of people being so involved in what others are doing, we haven’t been back to any clubs yet because we are simply not ready-but wouldn’t judge anyone that has.

What’s the difference is from a meeting someone in a club and having sex with them and someone meeting in a pub and hooking up?

I thought this multiple choice post might be a helpful template.

***

We were

A) shocked;

B) outraged; or

C) morally gobsmacked

when we were told this morning by

A) a close friend;

B) our friend Brian who is someone high up in the government so we can’t name him; or

C) the voices in our head

that some people have been having sex somewhere and

A) did not sanitise their hands before and after;

B) failed to wear face masks while at the glory hole (in either position); or

C) failed to ask us to join in

and we feel that this is evidence that

A) the country is not abiding 100 per cent to the incredibly clear and coherent guidance provided by the government;

B) the country is going to the dogs; or

C) the country is going dogging.

We are not pointing this out because

A) we are desperate for a shag ourselves;

B) somebody once trod on our bunions at a club which we will not name but whose postcode is an anagram of xxx xxx; or

C) we can’t get our Netflix to work so have too much time on our hands

but making this public as a selfless contribution to the fight against coronavirus, for which we expect to be showered with

A) positive forum comments;

B) the MBE;

C) offers to shag us in the bushes

Feel free to amend in any way that suits your own circumstances!

I am shocked about the amount of clubs in se England have turned a blind eye to the virus and a number of peoe even comment saying I am in the wrong and the virus is nothing more than a common cold. Having had to shield for 4 months. Meaning I have not seen the outside world since March would say something. I may sound like a Victor meldrew but any club or event turning a blind eye will be reported to the police.

You say this guy is new to clubs and had 'several' couples during the night,he may have been having a lovely dream, more likely this should be in the fantasy section

Joking aside there are quite a few clubs open now,I go to a club in which I've not seen any playing at all so far anyway, within the grounds inside/outside,restrooms are locked up since reopened, I find it more relaxing at the club at the moment as it's just social,I don't get the tryers well rarely now anyway

There maybe some individuals that are breaking the rules,it's difficult to police it,when there is private accommodation within the facilities, extensive outside grounds with lots nooks and crannies,it doesn't mean a club is letting it happen, they could lose their license as we all know

Tbh I hate to say sex and parties are happening up and town the country. People haven’t just stopped having sex because the government has said so.

Don’t get me wrong I am now at the point where I am starting to make judgement calls on if I want to meet. Why because avoiding the world is not good for my health, and 5 months in lockdown without touching another human is shit

Would I go to an event when I didn’t know the organiser, no. Would I go when I was good friends yes. Would I meet in areas that were high risk no, would I meet in low risk areas maybe

Things are not like they were in March and April my father was shielding and now back on the front line

Having had to shield for 4 months. Meaning I have not seen the outside world since March would say something. I may sound like a Victor meldrew but any club or event turning a blind eye will be reported to the police. "

Just out of curiosity, having had to shield for 4 months, have you actually witnessed a club turning a “blind eye”? Or did you hear it from a good friends dog walkers 2nd cousin who was speaking to a bloke whilst socially distancing in a queue in the supermarket that they had been told by an insider at the bbc who sweeps the floor that they’d seen it on a beer mat ?

What evidence will you be giving to show to the police Victor? Or will it all just be gossip and rumours that you have heard whilst shielding?

One thing I would like to see when the clubs are up and running at the new normal is a ban for all those slagging clubs off when they were trying to get back on their feet safely. Negative naysayers are not the new sexy.

Having first hand experience of being at a club 4 times since they reopened, I can tell you that the club I went to allows no play at all and that is strictly enforced. I didn't hear that from some random on fab, I was actually there.

Oh no those very same naysayers will be the first ones back to the clubs/parties telling anybody who will listen that they’re staunch supporters of clubs and that anybody who slags them off are .......

They are allowed more than 3, if social distancing is observed, which it is. As for orgies, you have no actual proof and many on here say to the Contrary

Proof is in thd forums that says it all. Pleasures is open and clearly having more than two people from two households. Romeos is a another event to give as an example. You are right I have no proof but fab records all messages and that is more than proof. You are telling me pleasures are open for just two households and no one else? If that correct I will eat my words

they are allowed people from different households, because those households are social distancing. They don't seem to get that

Are you also going to be contacting the police about any other breaches of COVID legislation - or just swingers clubs? If you see people go into a supermarket and not put their mask on do you then call the police ? Licensed premises that breach legislation ? Anybody breaching 14 day quarantine if they come back from holidaying in a quarantine specified country.? During your shielding and since have you adhered totally to guidance/legislation yourself ?

As somebody who also had to shield for 15 weeks then I’m frustrated too - but you can’t just pick and choose who you inform the police about. And to be brutally fucking honest - if there’s going to be a second wave then it will have more to do with the thousands of people who flocked to beaches, have gone on de on strati one, go to supermarkets without wearing masks or sanitising properly, have had street barbecues and outdoor parties than (by comparison) the small number of swingers who might be playing.

Get...a....fucking...life people !

That rule doesn't apply to businesses such as pubs, clubs, restaurants, supermarkets, hairdressers etc. You are misunderstanding the guidelines.

You’ve said you have no proof - I’m sure the police are going to welcome your morally indignant phone call/online report about POSSIBLE breaching of social distancing - send all units... dogs.., helicopters.... armed police.... never mind the bloke running amuck with a machete or the woman having the shit kicked out of her .... we’ve got people from different households who MIGHT be shagging !

Honestly, I think you're getting yourself worked up over something that isn't happening, maybe one or two clubs are allowing play but stalking the club section looking for rule breaches can't be doing you much good.

Oh by the way proof is in the forums because somebody has written that it’s happening. If you do your research you’ll also find that hundreds of years ago it was also written that the world was flat. Listen - personally if you can actually EVIDENCE something by having WITNESSED it YOURSELF, then sure, if you feel it’s appropriate to report it, fill your boots - absolutely nothing wrong with that. But otherwise it’s hearsay/circumstantial evidence which in the main is about as much use as a chocolate teapot in a criminal prosecution.

It is le breathing throw a straw when struggling to breathe. But you know that working in the front line with people like me wouldnt you? So a mask in front of their face too would prove difficult. But why do I have to prove that to anyone because I apparently have to in this age.

We will do some of us have self control and do not break the rules,we can handle the fact clubs are socializing only

The club I go to is doing brilliantly, I've seen no play, lots of rules in place for health and safety of guests and staff, they are making it work in these difficult times, which I for one appreciate as I've worked all through this frontline,so definitely missed my chill place the first few months, glad to see them open again

Btw it's against the rules to take pics in the sutton house at swinging parties, due to privacy rules just thought I would say

All, pics I had taken on my profile are before pandemic and before the lockdown so you are saying that all before this happened was against the rules? If so I am happy to remove. If everyone sting that rules against supermarkets are being broken then of course need to be reported but if rules in supermarkets are being followed then I can't see how it can be compared. I am just seeing what is being said from goverment guidelines. I am not here to have ago with anyone. If 30 people are meeting from two households then it's fine. But of course this is being broken.

I mentioned the pics as you were accusing clubs of breaking rules and you break the pic rule lol,its not an attack I've seen many pics from sutton house parties on fab, that is a rule in the swinging scene for years, that pics and vids shouldn't be taken in swinging clubs and parties due to privacy rules

Nah keep them your not the only one on fab

As for the government rules, check again,as your in a muddle that's a rule for two households visiting a pub etc,not actually who is in the pub, indoor venues can have 30 people and can be different households social distancing, don't think a household has 15 people

As for supermarkets you need to talk to them as no queues and loads in and out lately, but atleast wearing masks or daffodil badges

How it can be compared is that if businesses/venues/people OTHER than swingers clubs are “breaking the rules” then you can’t arbitrarily ignore it. You’re just talking about dropping the dime on swingers clubs, going PURELY on hearsay. They are a BUSINESS just like a supermarket/ retail outlet/ restaurant/ public house and now, a number of leisure venues including ice rinks.

NONE of those are covered by the “two household rule”. They are BUSINESSES !

Yep - definitely the whole cactus !

If you are going to report every organisation that is breaking rules then your going to be very very busy. I say organisation because I know not every pub is asking for track and trace, nor is every restaurant.

The way your coming across mate won’t help you when we come out of lockdown. If you have been to seen grassing other swingers / clubs up you will get a reputation

Now I know for example that certain drugs are used in the scene both class. A and class b. It’s not my thing at all but would I go running around reporting it no. Why because it’s down to choice. I can say I see at least 5 profiles a day with 420 on.

I know lots of swingers that are meeting both social and not social in breach of guidelines why because they have made a risk based approach to what the current status is.

I would also like to clarify there is a difference between guidance and legislation. Guidance can be ignored. Legislation should not

Also just also clarify something is that play can happen between two people from the same household as long as it is socially distanced. So for example in a voyeur situation in a house

For 4 months I never met another person even socially and even now I still haven’t met many people. I am minimising contact, and travel but there comes a point that I want to start to meet people again

Fields - cabins overnight ?? Sounds like he did not attend a “club” as such. The thread has mutated into Condemnation - guess work & pure conjecture - hearsay, based on a “message” someone had from someone else (third hand). So it appears to be pointless. Just my opinion.

"

Nail on head.

"a really pointless thread - people will do as they please, one way or another.

I disagree; I would love to hear more about this single guy in the OP’s opening statement, who was lucky enough to have several couples join him on his first foray in to the world of swingers’ clubs? I would love to know how his visit worked so well for him?

Fields - cabins overnight ?? Sounds like he did not attend a “club” as such. The thread has mutated into Condemnation - guess work & pure conjecture - hearsay, based on a “message” someone had from someone else (third hand). So it appears to be pointless. Just my opinion.

Figured it out - Butlins or Pontins !!! lol no mate , fields and cabins -- sounds like Eurekas to me "

thanks for the pointer - I was just about to book pontins for a week lol
