We just got round to watching the documentary on catch up. Then we read some of the other comments on the program and felt that we wanted to add ours.
We haven’t been to Lib’s yet, but it is definitely on our to do list now.
We thought that the program was actually well crafted and showed real people going to a Club. Of course it was a little staged, who wouldn’t be a bit camera shy. But we thought that everybody who agreed to take part seemed lovely, open, honest and we’d have been happy to socialise with all of them and play with some of them!
Clearly the Club was down on numbers for the night as many would have chosen not to go as there were going to be TV camera’s there. We would have been 2 of those! But the venue looked lovely, the staff were great, so once we can, we will head over and try out a non Camera night!
Well done to everyone who did agree to be filmed, you were incredibly brave.
We have been to a few Clubs and some nights we don’t play, but go back to our hotel on our own and have fun, sometimes we play at the Club on our own, sometimes we play with single guys, sometimes couples. But we have always had a great time, we don’t expect anything to happen - if it does, bonus!

We thought all of the people were lovely. It has made us interested in the Club as it seems to attract a nice mix of people. If we were to meet any of them there on a Club night that would be a bonus.
We only do Club meets, so this will have to wait for obvious reasons but Lib’s looks like a good place to go, one day  |

Agree completely, they all seemed great people. I'm certainly looking to try out the club in the future. Best place to meet people as you can convey your personality better than via messages/chat online. |

Been a member of this club since it opened both as a single guy and now as a couple with the wife. Had the pleasure of going to most clubs over the tears but liberty elite is in a class of its own. Love the place. Anyone thinking of going will not be disappointed. A&c. Xxx |

You won’t be disappointed. We’ve been about a dozen times, always had a great night and met/played with some lovely people. The club is normally a lot busier than it seemed in the documentary, we wonder if it was an additional night for filming rather than the real valentines night? |

Visited the club on selected sundays when they host embargo (specialist fetish and BDSM event)
The whole club is gorgeous and very well appointed. The owner and his team are lovely people and really know what matters to make a nice atmosphere. The documentary is well balanced and touches nicely on the scene and potential pitfalls and yet on the same time you can see the club side of swing portrayed in a respectful light .

Hi everyone some lovely positive comments in this and other forum posts so that’s really refreshing. The nights at Libs vary in attendance but the night of filming was a quiet night mainly due to a lot of people not wanting the public attention of being outed as a swinger. However even on a quiet night the place is always a lot of fun.
Feel free to pick our brains about anything and if we can’t help we can hopefully point you in the direction of someone who can.
We as hosts of our event at the club love the place and everything about it and cannot wait go hopefully return to attending and then in turn hosting again.
If you’ve never been would highly recommend Libs and all
It’s lovely staff.

Well this doc was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual seedy dirty portrayals seen before. I predict a lot of interest in the club from new clientele who always wondered what a night there would be like .well now ya know ! |

Brought back great memories of our club days before moving to Spain... you are so lucky having lovely clubs like this.
It was a shame that the programme makers did seem to have an agenda. The owner was brilliant as were his staff. The visitors were also very good especially Steve and Carolyn who we really related to.
One of the better programmes that have tried to illustrate the lifestyle.
Have fun everyone and if the owner would like to open another club dow here in the sun, we would love it! |

Watched this programme last night, personal thoughts are that it looks like a brilliant club, good to show the behind the scenes parts to this venue, as in the cleaning and laundry and effort to the food.
The cast were fantastic, very honest and candid, I don’t think it was seedy at all, it seemed like a true reflection and insight for the vanilla ones.
We will most definitely be looking to attend and would most definitely be choosing to stay in one of the on site rooms.
Looking forward to it re-opening.

I thought it was an enjoyable watch, certainly an improvement from the last ones C4 did. am I right in thinking one of the couples was the bedhoppers podcast ? Voices certainly sounded familiar but dont remember any mention of it in the documentary. Would be interesting to see them talk about the behind the scenes of the show if it was. |

Clubs are NOT ‘basically for couples’ they are for everyone who want to go to them. Couples make up the majority of the footfall but most clubs cater for and activity encourage singles to attend."
I would say it’s probably 50% couples and 35% single guys with 15% single ladies |

We love Libs and try to go every couple of months. Like many, we avoided the club that night as didnt want to be on TV. Whilst we admired those who agreed to appear, we didnt actually think it was the greatest representation of the club. Trust us, it is way better than it came across, so if you liked it in the TV, then you will love it if you go in person.

Im glad to see a bdsm event. im not too close by so this is the kinda thing i can plan for. I go to clubs up north mostly as i host events in Blackpool but like to travel occasionally and see.
Portrayed well on doc. Intrigued to comeand try the club. |

Hubby and I thought the club looked great, and a palace compared to the one we visited in Edinburgh. The owner seemed really nice and not at all creepy like some older gents can be. Overall I thought the show was good, I appreciated that the narrator wasn't constantly ripping the piss as is usually the case on shows involving different lifestyles. I would gladly travel there to visit the club then stay in one of their nice wee hotel rooms. They look very convenient for folks who don't drive.

I've just watched it too,I thought it was the best swingers program I've seen and nobody in a mask
I went to Libs about 3 years ago and it was absolutely packed,one of the dark desires events,I was really impressed with the venue,just a shame it's a long way from me,or I would be back as it was a fantastic night
I think the program showed us the reality of what it can be like,showing the social side,connections building,then showing some action in a nice way(rather than pornographic)
I know it wasn't a busy night,then again we are not all brave enough to be on tv
