We are heartbroken that the family has lost its home. Asylum was more than a club to us. It was our first experience in the scene and facilitated so many other firsts for us.
The people we have met have been some of the closest friends you could dream of meeting. The most accepting, tolerant and supportive community a newbie couple could hope to encounter. We weren't into kink but we were made to feel like part of the crew from the minute we arrived.
We have laughed harder and loved more in that place than anywhere else.
There is always hope it will return in a different venue but for now we will raise a glass to our friend Asylum. More than a club.
