PDI Venus star or la mirage

Hi all we are loooing at booking our first swingers holiday in November/dec 2021 to PDI and can’t decide between which of these hotels or if we should stay in a adults only hotel in the city centre so closer to the bars.
We may even do 3 days at both hotels maybe what do you guys think?
Any advice would be great.

Both are good.
La Mirage is smaller and thereby more intimate. Venus has more accommodation units and thereby more potential playmates. Venus is much more expensive. |

We have now booked up but staying at the Labranda Marieta on the 27th nov till 4th Dec.
Couldn’t get mirage or Venus for the dates we wanted and the package holiday also gives us more security of covid is still about then.
We’re hoping it will all be under control by November |

We booked with Jet2.com.
All inclusive in the city centre in adults only hotel. Would of preferred one of the swingers hotels but the dates didn’t match and we didn’t have much flexibility on dates |

We have never been to PDI before so this is a first for us. From what we have been told thought he winter months is much more for the swingers |

Venue star is lovely and well set out big comfortable sun beds with lush thick mattresses great for playing and sleeping on , great pool , big warm jacuzzi nice bar and restaurant although food not great . Good showers and toilet facilities. Much preferred the closeness of the old Venus though must admit spent a few good holidays there but won’t be going to Venus star again it’s to in your face for a week and as lost the friendly atmosphere the old Venus had . It’s ok for a day visit for the bbq , as for la mirage had one week there and don’t see what the fuss is about . No appeal to us but each to their own xx |

Oct to march is the swingers season apparently, certainly Oct was very busy when I went..if your in or near pdi everything is very central and taxis are cheap.. |

Been to La Mirage 6 times and Venus a couple.
In our experience we'd say that the average age at Venus is younger also it's a little bit more full on regarding swinger fun.
Both resorts tend to be quiet in the evening when folk often go out to eat or visit the clubs in PDI.
LM is longer established and although small has well laid out bungalows and landscaped grounds.
We've played in both but you can have a completely vanilla holiday in LM just enjoying the ambiance and relaxed lifestyle.
Personally we prefer LM finding the staff very friendly and socialising easy regardless of whether we play or not.
