Yep, now there's a blast from the past. I remember the drive up from Birmingham in the days when there were no clubs in the Midlands at all. It was The Boardroom or Adam & Eves, and that was about it.
Was it Scottish Jim that started The Boardroom, before then starting somewhere else and eventually opening Connections in Openshaw?
We went once and only once. It seemed to be full of gangsters and there were people asleep on the seats.
Luckily Cupids was open in Manchester so we became regulars there.
