It seems a shame that people use the club review section to try and push their favourite club. We travel a lot and always leave an honest review once or twice the club has contacted us and thanked us for the review or messaged to say they have reviewed something we have mentioned but quite often people start getting defensive, not to our rviews just any negative comments that are left. There is also the blaitant lying by some members, we were at a club on a certain night and read the reviews the next week which were a blatent lie! They said the club was heaving and packed where as in reality it probably only had a total of 20+ people in it. It is a shame really as you have to sift through loads of reviews to actually find a review not just comments like "best night ever"!

Gripe over!!

That's what I've noticed a lot of, thats why i thought of asking for honest unbiased reviews. I also notice regular posters either over zealous about a club or very critical. We know not every club suits everyone but prefer honest feedback.

All the points raised above by both posters are totally bang on, and we have had the same problem when being critical about some venues which really need to pull their socks up in certain areas.

People who jump into attack constructive criticism, which no doubt yours was, should realise their doing themselves nor their favourite club any favours and people will vote with their feet accordingly. Unfortunately in addition to this, there are a couple of tuff wars going between some venues which loyal members to those clubs seem to consider repeated reviews the best soloution, its not. We will leave at least 4 to 6 months between a review, unless we feel something has changed or a quick comment about consistency of a venue is needed, but normally a year between them is even better. If its as good then, as it was 12 months previously, that says much for the venue, and has more credability.
