Will each club just carry on as they are now - some clubs require proof of vaccination or neg lft.

Will thing return to pre covid times?

I guess it will be down to the individual club

Requirements for proof of lft’s haven’t been a necessity for many clubs for a while because many of them don’t have a large enough capacity anyway.

It’s been the attitude of the owners/managers of each club that has dictated whether guests should be able to enter with or without any controls.

I’m sure no club would want a reputation where it was thought they didn’t care for the welfare of their guests and since the start of Covid we haven’t found anyone deliberately doing things to endanger their guests. Perhaps we’ve been lucky…

The only problem with asking for proof of vaccination now is that it's no longer law. This technically means that you are going to be asking people for medical history which is a very strict no no.

"Will we still have to show proof of vaccination at airports ?"

I think is down to the requirements of entry for whichever country you're visiting.

Some ask for proof you're double jabbed. You could have covid and no or little symptoms, but you're good to go.

You wouldn't believe the amount of clubs that had no duty of care for staff or guests. It was really unbelievable, like you said endangering their guests. Was good to see which club cares and which didn't. We even know of a club who said vaccine proof or no entry and a friend of ours who's an antivaxer with no jabs went regular just shows words and actions were 2 different things

Since we re-opened in October last year we have insisted on seeing proof of double jabs and the actual lateral flow tests completed on the day and we take temperatures on the door. Failure to comply with these requirements mean no entry.

We will be continuing to adhere to these rules until the end of April and monitor the situation from there-on in.

Interesting to note that we were losing quite a lot of bookings on the day due to positive lateral flow tests but this has significantly dropped away for our last couple of events but this is no time for complacency, we currently have a friend in hospital seriously ill with Covid and it's not going away.

The well being of our guests, our staff and ourselves is far more important than any short term profit.
