We were there again last night, quite busy with a great mix of people, had a nice time relaxing in the pools and then stepped up a gear or two in the mirror room upstairs afterwards, a VERY filthy time enjoyed by both of us.... |

We always go during the afternoon at weekends, we also stay until closing.
It's a lovely spa during the afternoon but tends to be single male heavy. They're usually all respectful, those that aren't get shown the door. Couples play tends to only happen after 6pm. |

Oddly enough, given that it's a weekend, I find the 'open to all' time during the daytime on Saturdays the most relaxing. More so than, say, a regular week day. Perhaps everyone is holding themselves back for later. |

I have been going to the past 20years and it’s one of my favourite places to relax. The singles are always respectable and the owners true to their rules. Which is important to me. Couples only is couples only. Always clean and friendly. And the toasted sandwiches are the best I have ever had.

I love it there , been a few times now and been different people every time .
I go mostly Saturday afternoon or sometimes Friday night .
Seen single girls from 20-30 years old .
Couples from 30-50’s
Men from 30-60 .
Everyone is very respectful and never seen any problems . Staff are so nice |

I wanted to ask, with reference to the “rest rooms”. The ones with doors, can people still see in? I read about a half glazed door on their website but wasn’t sure if this was to the rooms or part of it.
I’m hoping to go with a plus one for the first time and naturally she’s curious. We both are to be fair |

The half glazed door is the access to the area of the rest rooms. You won't see anything through that door. Once in some of the rooms are open some have lockable doors. Plenty of opportunities to watch |

Yup, this half glazed door is into the restroom area corridor which curves off to the right. There are around 7 private rooms with I believe 3 of those being large enough for more than 2 people. There is also the large open space at the end with a bedspace for around 10 people and this area is open to the corridor with no doors.
A lot of people tend to leave the doors open as the rooms can get quite hot, but also because it's fun to be watched

That is a hard question to ask, just depends on the day. Been once to a couples evening and it was great. I think if I went as a single I would only go if it was planned to meet people there. |

During the day at the weekend it's mostly men. There are some couples, sometimes, but the majority begin to arrive 5pm onwards.
We use it purely as a spa during the day then use the rest rooms after 6. Depends on what you're looking for.
Weekdays are very random but expect mostly men. |

It all depends on the day… also what you’re looking for, if it’s some single males there is a high probability that you will have some (I am definitely going on Wednesday at about 1pm I am single straight ) if it’s couples / single ladies it’s really hit and miss… anyways … hope to see you there |

Been going there a number of years and always peaceful. Single guys don't get heavy as they will be shown the door.
Not many bi guys there unfortunately for one of us.
The mirror room and the open area are a particular favorite of ours.
Also the darkened hot tub.
Was there a few weeks ago and he couldn't keep his eyes of a young guys whopper!!!
He may be there Wednesday afternoon if any bi guys are going. |

I’ve only ever been at weekends. So after 5.30 it’s purely couples. Before 5.30 there is, as you might expect, more men. But I have known single women, or maybe 2/3 female friends to go together x |

Yes they close at 10. Remember it’s a Spa not a club. You should try Penthouse Playrooms

I’ve been to BGHS a number of times. Recently introduced my wife who enjoyed the first visit and was happy to go again.
Wondering how busy Friday and Saturday nights are and how a suggestion of ‘having some fun’ occurs.

Some thing I have noticed during my 20years of visiting is it’s busier after pay day. But if there is a big sporting event on (FA Cup or Rugby) its less busy.
You only need one other couple to have a great time there so it’s not the numbers that matter. I would go and focus on relaxing and anything else is a bonus. Maybe go before the couples time just in case there is a single female or male you like.

Theres a carpark in front of Angels for half a dozen cars, and also directly opposite is a pay and display with ample parking. |

The closest free parking is at Brighton Marina - a 15 minute walk away. |

You can park for free in Reading, Marlow or Peel Road approximately 10 minute walk from BGHS. From BGHS, turn right and walk down to roundabout, then turn left and second right. Was free for our last two visits if you can find a space. |

Would recommend going on Saturday, people are likely to stay later because there is no work the following day and that opens a lot more opportunities |

To be honest you can go any day and anytime to enjoy the facilities. And I am sure everyone would be happy to chat to you guys without pressuring you. Remember it’s a spa not a swingers club.
I have been many times and seem couple and single females enjoying all the facilities and rooms without any issues at all.

If you are free Friday I can keep you company.
But you can go on a Saturday. You will still enjoy it. Image you don’t have to talk to anyone and that’s the best headspace. |

Yes it is. When I go I always focus on relaxing that way anything else is a bonus and I won’t be disappointed if there is no play. I have noticed many day timers leave about 5 but that’s ok too because the some just come for the evening. It’s not very often it is quite but it can happen. I hope this helps. |

We've been going to bghs for 20 years and it's a lovely place to go and relax. It's not perfect but then nowhere is. What it offers is an oasis away from the stresses of everyday life. Go, relax & enjoy. |

"I lived and worked in Shoreham/Brighton all of my life up until 2002 but never visited this place as it had a bit of a dirty/seedy reputation.
We will be in the UK next September and plan to spend a week in Brighton so hope to make a visit while there.

This has to be one of the cleanest spas in the UK. The two female owners (their dad opened the spa many moons ago) have rules and abide by them. Couples nights are couples nights. The spa area is only to be used as a spa nothing else. And I have seen evidence of people being being told this.
You will have a lovely time.

For some reason, whenever I saw about BGHS on here, I incorrectly assumed it was the same place.

Heya! Bghs is a great place and our preferred place to visit. The only place you have to wear a towel is the social area on the middle floor. Otherwise it's nude or a towel.
It's a cracking place, the team are lovely and the facilities are great. They also work hard to maintain a safe environment which makes us feel really comfortable there.
There is no amorous activity allowed outside of the restrooms on the top floor as well as there is a clear immovable distinction between the naturist spa and the restrooms. We really appreciate this but its always worth noting!!

Inevitably, there may be some who’ll follow you around if you go on a singles day. But, they’ll either be naked or wearing a towel as well.
The great thing is the staff will stop such behaviour immediately if told.

We visited BGHS again last Wednesday and had an amazing time, as always,
The spa was really relaxing and the rest rooms were fun!

Not many bi guys there unfortunately for one of us.
The mirror room and the open area are a particular favorite of ours.
Also the darkened hot tub.
Was there a few weeks ago and he couldn't keep his eyes of a young guys whopper!!!
He may be there Wednesday afternoon if any bi guys are going."

After reading the forum I went there this afternoon and was a pretty nice time. It did what it was suppose to do and that was make me relax for an hour or so.
Didn’t really speak to anyone as it was fairly quite little to no one there really. Had a wonder to get my bearings so I know next I go as this was my first time.
Would be really interested in getting to know some people who are regulars as I can imagine it’s a decent evening with the right company… |
