Have an unexpected free day Thursday and am thinking of going….am I advised to go with someone rather than alone? It would be my first time so a little unsure what to expect. |

You should be ok on your own. Play only takes place in the rooms on the upper level and you don’t have take part in such . The attendees tend to be respectful of any rebuttal. It will probably have a ratio of around 80% men with average age of around 40 years old , maybe a little higher |

You will swiftly be inundated by blokes offering to accompany you - don't do it would be my advice, unless they are guys you already know well. Most blokes will offer to "chaperone" you and say "no expectations" but then act like a complete tosser inside thinking they own you and are entitled to a fuck. You also have to share locker if you go in together as a couple so the chap can rifle through all your stuff if he goes to the locker without you (a friend of kine lost her iPhone and wallet this way some years ago)...
BGHS is a super safe place for ladies to go solo and the staff will boot out anyone who is pestering. Thursdays are quiet and chilled.
