We’re going to Chameleons Darlaston on Wednesday for the first time. Really looking forwards to it and will be there 12-12 lol.
Anyone got tips about things to avoid, dress, footwear. Parking, hotel, local food etc ?

There’s a Holiday Inn and a Premier Inn at J10 of the m6 just a few minutes away.
There is free parking on site and a small car park just outside. They do fill up at busy times but at that time you’ll have no issues.
The toasties are amazing…
There are lots of stairs so bear that in mind! |

They do have rooms where you can stay over at the club. They are very clean and breakfast cob / roll included in price. The room are on par with B&Bs or travelodges call the club to book.
Just been your friendly selves and you will be fine everyone is friendly and welcoming and respectful. The staff are super helpful.
Food on site is nice and reasonable prices.
Take your own alcohol but you have to buy any mixer from the club.
Hope you enjoy yourselves

We love Chameleons. Such a great club, dress down immediately and the people are always friendly. Staff are amazing. We usually book a room on site, as said, clean and great to have. Parking free behind the club, well we’ve never paid?!
Shoes, I usually start in some but heels off after you’ve been up and down the stairs a few times.
We have been to a good few clubs and this is one of the best. Take it at your own pace and have fun….  Have us looking now to book another visit!! |

Obviously it will be a bit quiet being mid week but we've always enjoyed it there whenever we go.
The weather is cooling down but if the sun does make an appearance the sun deck is a nice place to relax.
There's much to enjoy there so have a great time! |

Parking is usually good during the week,
They have rooms on site, at a really good price, worth giving them a call to book, they usually have rooms available mid week.
We stay in them a lot.
It’s dress down straight away, so don’t get dressed up to visit.

Same as everyone else said really - i wear some simple flat shoes and a corset. Drinks and food are very reasonable. Staff are brilliant. The hottub if you are to use it you have to go in naked. Two towels are provided but you can always ask for more.
Chams was my first step into swinging and i still go there now! So definately take the plunge and you wont regret it! |

Dress= Nudists venue

Entry fee depends on the day and sometimes also the time you arrive but usually in the region of £35 - £40 for single male members |

Dress= Nudists venue
Footwear= fully carpet

All correct except it's not nudist, it's a dress down club; Men boxers or towel. Female towel, sexy lingerie or even skimpy club wear. Great club and really friendly staff   |

"We are back at Chams next Thursday & Friday, for our first Thursday Naked Night (which we are a bit nervous about), then the following day/night."
Don’t be nervous about Naked Night. Probably the most chilled and absolutely non-judgemental night of them all. You can carry your towel slung over your shoulder but not tied around you but you’ll quickly feel very at home with being au naturel.
I’m hoping to be there next Thursday likely with a FWB. It will be her first trip to the club let alone to Naked Night so if you want strength in numbers give us a shout.
Then come Friday you’ll feel overdressed (briefly) 😂

I'm heading to Birmingham next week for a meeting and hoping to visit Chameleons while I'm there. I understand single males need a membership to get in, I’ve already emailed to ask about joining, but haven’t heard back yet.
Does anyone know if it's possible to just pop in on the day and get a membership sorted? Would really appreciate any insight

Visited on Fri 17 Oct for first time and have to thank the staff for being so kind and welcoming. Going into a venue where so many people already know each other can be intimidating but they and others were really friendly. Anyone going should have a great time and I’ll definitely be back! |

Make sure you have your membership sorted beforehand, don't just turn up. Chams is famous for having waiting list for single male membership.
I don't think there are any better or worse days to go, as it being a spa based club, you can never tell how busy it's going to be |

Hi guys - it’s simply the best club in the country - easy parking, great people, relaxed atmosphere until midnight. The cinema is a great place to make out and be sure others will join in. Yes, but they don't let you pay daily, you have to pay for the whole year in a lump sum. £80 can be a lot of money for people, and there is also the entrance fee and drinks/food while there. Swinging is not a cheap hobby. |

The top of the main staircase has a seating area known as the bus stop. It's a great place to socialise and make new friends. The jacuzzi is great as well, try and get in the one on the left as you go in as it's a higher ceiling with better airflow. And...in the unlikely event you find yourself on your own, just find us and our friends, we are always up for a chat |

Sorry for the late reply. We’ve only stayed in the £75 rooms which are near to the dance floor on thr 1st floor. They are fine, nothing fancy but clean and comfy and have a rather large mirror over the bed…😈 |

Mr B prefers boxers, Mrs F prefers to see Boxers rather than a towel. We think it's a better look having a nice pair of boxers than a dowdy towel. Preference is a good thing, not everyone likes the same thing, even down the choice of dress up clubs or dress down club |

This is so interesting….i asked what females / couples prefer on another post. And had a mixed response, but general consensus was boxers. As why wouldn’t the lady like to see him wrapped? Was the majority…..
I thought a towel was okay, but now mindful that perhaps I should reconsider. So I’m going boxers for a while. I guess if you have a nice bum, girls Like to see?

I don't think there are any hotels within walking distance. Most people seem to take a short taxi ride to either the Village hotel next to the M6, or the Premier Inn which is a bit closer. |

Chameleons is open 6 days a week, with Tuesday being the day they're closed for maintenance. As nobody has to book (unless it's a special event), it's impossible to tell how busy it's going to be. Also, if you're not a member yet, you may need to hold your horses, as single man membership at Chams is infamously difficult to obtain, with there normally being a waiting list, and you cannot just join on the door. It's also not cheap, I believe it's £80 per year, and that's on top of your normal entry fee on the day. It is possible to "try before you buy", visit the club without membership, when you join the list for an event there, normally advertised via forum. But those events are usually at the weekend, and single male places go very fast. |
