Looking for opinions on Fridays at Chams. We’ve been going to xtasia and found the people there really friendly and welcoming to us as we are quite new to the scene but lately we’ve found it a little empty. What’s a Friday night at Chams like and are the single guys respectful as I e heard some clubs have problems in this department. Any advice for us newbies would be appreciated |

We've been to both and enjoy them equally; they're so different - dress up/dress down.
We actually prefer the Friday night at Chams as we don't always mix with couples.
In general the guys are respectful. But any that do act in a way you disagree with; we find a firm response usually sorts it out. We've never had to go farther than that. But if you do have any issues that need escalating the staff will sort it out for you.
We do like Xtasia too; maybe if you want a bit more going on have you tried an event night?

We have been on event nights the last five visits, but unfortunately two of the last three it’s been really quiet. We are not necessarily looking to play every visit, but we do like the interaction with single guys chatting Lucy up. |

We like Friday night at Chams because aside from the singles the couples that are there tend to be more active. Sometimes we find on a Saturday a lot of people like to just play with each other (which is absolutely fine). May be that's just how it's appeared and not actually the case at all, just our view.
That's a long way of saying "give it a go, you've nothing to lose" |

I think we will give it a try later this month. I do hear a lot of good things about the place and hopefully it’s a little quieter there in terms of the music. Xtasia tends to get a little loud in the main club and we end up in the smoking area so that we can chat and socialise. Thanks for the review and maybe we’ll see you there for a drink. |

Friday nights at Chameleons we have found to be quite busy the times we've been. We used to go to a club in Derby and we rattled around with very few on a Friday night. We always make a weekend of it at clubs so to go to a club for both Friday and Saturday nights and both having a great vibe is brilliant, we should have started going to Chameleons years ago. On another plus the club is open from midday Friday and Saturday so more time to interact with folk. With chameleons having a strict membership for single men it always seems single guys know the etiquette of swinging unlike other places we've been to |

The disco at Chams is upstairs and away from the main bar, so you can hear yourself think in most of the club. The bar can be a little loud if you end up under a speaker, but there are lots of little separate areas to sit that are quiet. |

That sounds perfect. Having a bar area where you can drink socialise sit around on sofas and people come and have a chat is what we’re looking for. We find ourselves out in the vaping area too much at the moment and guys tend not to come out there and chat so much. Seems mostly couples and ladies that come out of there which is great for lifestyle chat that opens our eyes because we’re very new but it’s not the same excitement as having a guy chances I am with your wife. |
