Hell yeah , the whole scene is full of fake friends , but it goes with the territory .

Chinese whispers are rife , and cliques exist all over the place !

The motto ' don't trust anyone ' is certainly a wise one to remember in this lifestyle .

We are lucky to have each other as without that we probably would have given up on such a shallow pastime long ago

Nature of the game sometimes

People want your body, they're friendly, they get your body, they fuck off

I know i've walked away from sex thinking that was ok but I doubt I'll ever go there again, doesn't mean I wouldn't talk or continue to be friendly with them if I saw them around again

Of course you are , but the op suggested that there is such a thing in the club scene as fake friends . With this we agree . We also suggest that from our experience the kind of friendship on fab is not the same as vanilla or Facebook friendship .

Of course this may well be different for singles and indeed some couples , but in all honesty we are on here to explore sexual liaisons with others , not to make friends . We have a rich and varied friends list outside our swinging lifestyle

over the hill and far away

I agree funtarzan.

They want to be fucked senseless, you have a great time with them.

The next week, they totally blank you not even a smile or hello

Makes you wonder if you had done something wrong.

Manners and a smile go a long way x

I think some people are getting confused between being friendly and having a true friend.. There is no comparison... of course people are going to be friendly to get a fuck from you; wouldn't work otherwise but that doesn't mean they are trying to be your friend.. politeness goes a long way.. friendship however doesn't happen overnight.. The relationship is built on, nurtured over time.. I'm not here to make friends and clearly state that on my profile but I have made friends from here.. ones I think the world of and can't envisage my life without now.. do I make friends with people to get laid?.. NO.. I'm just polite and friendly.. its all part of the wooing process.. I won't be inviting them round for coffee anytime soon

We go to clubs, some people we like, some we avoid, some we have become great friends with, just like normal life really...don't see the point of this post unless you don't trust your own judgement.

Of course I'm going to be pally to get some action at a club. That's why I go to a club! Should I then invite them round for afternoon tea regularly afterwards?

I met my best friend on here.

We swing separately (rarely together)

We share a caravan (and a bed when we are away) but we are not lovers or fuck buddies...we are just the best of friends...maybe with occasional benefits.

That awkward moment when you find out someone you considered a friend on this scene isnt who they say they are at all, thats what I consider to be a fake friend
