I like a swingers club to FEEL like a swingers club, not like a weird house, if you know what i mean.

We love clubs that have Hot tubs however you can't beat the pool at Abfabs for manoeuvring around and meeting people. I would say a mix of a big heated pool and hot tubs dotted around.

A mixed variety of playrooms

Along with a dungeon type area separate bar and personable hot clientele.

Passionate owners who genuinely love what they do and do it for the right reasons!

The rest of it comes naturally then..The cleanliness, the welcome, the facilities, the management of the club, the staff.

You can have the best club in the world but if it's run by people who are not passionate, it shows! Xxx

Fair prices for all involved. Not saying swinging is a rich persons hobby but it does help to have some money. I agree with hot tubs and pools. I think a good cinema with good porn (nothing worse than watching some poor girl having her arse ripped apart by two very big cocks at the same time)

Cheers people I think the pool and large hot tube are out. In regards to overnight. Caravans and campersvan are possible or lift to and from local hotel. The rest should be do able. Cheers people. How about a with music. In common areasense via request on line or on the door.

Really? most suggestions are for hot tubs and pools and they are "out"

If the question was asked because you are planning to open one then my suggestion would be don't, not because there is anything wrong with the businesses, more because if you can so freely disregard the most popular suggestions from your target market then chances are without a very special USP then you will find success hard to come by.

If the reason you are disregarding is for ability to achieve at location then I would suggest change location you only get one chance to get it right.

In case you hadn't guessed we are in the pool/hottub camp along with all the other suggestions of plenty of other playrooms private and open then of course staff and hosts can tip the balance.

It is location that stops the pool and costs that stop the hot tubs. But should be able to supply everything else. Also council us unlikely to give liquor sales license on premises. But I feel most prefer to bring there own.

We don't prefer to bring our own drinks. If there is no hot tub/pool and no bar, then why would we spend money to come to your club, when we could just arrange a private meet at our house?

Hot tubs are a right royal pain in the ass to control the risks of legionnaires etc...Jim went on a course to learn all about it! lol They also cost a fortune to run 24/7, which you have to do to maintain the infection control.

However, our hot tub is one of our biggest draws and is worth every bit of hassle.

I think you are making a huge mistake disregarding this from your plans and if it's not feasible due to money/location/practicality, then I would say, make it feasible!

As for a licence, it is worth all of the big hoops you have to jump through, but your club will be above the parapit if you go for a licence. This means you have to be spot on with everything and it is spot checked. I personally think it's worth the effort and it benefits the customers to be more 'visible' where the authorities are concerned. Saying this, most clubs don't have a licence and do brilliantly.

What you need to be aware of is that if people bring their own alcohol and your bar staff serve that alcohol from the fridge and pour it, you still need an alcohol licence (I am a licencee and know my stuff). To get by this, you would store the alcohol and when someone wants a drink, you put it on the bar, give the customer a glass and they pour themselves. Sounds petty doesn't it? Well the licencing will slap a big fine on your doorstep if they catch you, so you are best starting out the way way you mean to go on and do it right.

Sorry to be long winded, but these smaller details are the things you need to be planning now; not when you have your premises and are moving in the furniture as it could be for nothing xxx

Cheers that's all good points. I've only been to one club that charged for drinks and it costs so much. I'd prefer to spend £2.20 on 4 can than £10 in the club. A hot tub would be possible in future if profits allowed. Personally we never use the hot tubs at clubs. Unless at the spa. Which is what we go for.

A good wet area is what makes a club for us, it's great for socialising and sets clubs apart from standard private meets.

We don't mind taking our own drinks but I've seen people who haven't brought enough for the whole night and run out or people who didn't know/forgot to bring a drink who then get stuck without a drink.

We like a good atmosphere in clubs, lots of different themed playrooms, friendly staff are a must - there's nothing worse than getting to a club and feeling like you're an inconvenience!

I think the main thing for us is nice surroundings, nice people. I have noticed over the last couple of years clubs do be seen to be going a bit more upmarket which seems nice that people are making more of an effort

"Shop nearby "

Not in a million years would I leave a club to go and buy a drink and then return. I'd just leave.
