I've just been looking at their website as I'm hoping to spend a day there one day soon. Do many people go for the day and stay on for the parties? Also I'm struggling a little to understand the pricing/membership system, for example if I went (with a partner) for the day then went to the party and stayed in one of their standard cabins about how much would that set me back? I know there is a pricing page on the site but I'm having a thicko day!

Depends what night you go there, Saturday is a bit more expensive and cabins get booked up well in advance, other nights are cheaper. Think they do a combined day/party charge think no more than £50 for a couple. Plus don't forget to take your own drinks

There's usually a mixture of people there for day or evening or both.

Have a great time if you go.

We've been a couple of times and didn't enjoy it either time (one night time party and one day time visit). It's just not for us but it's a good idea for you to go along and form your own opinion. Plenty of people have only good things to say about the place so it's very much horses for courses.

Hope you have fun when you go.

What did you not like about it? Have you been to Kestrels and what did you think of that?

"What did you not like about it? Have you been to Kestrels and what did you think of that? "

We're members of Kestrels / Abfabs and love it there. Excellent facilities, loads of play areas and fantastic staff.

We didn't like the evening party at Eurekas because the music was too loud so it was hard to socialise (great for those who like the club scene with a naughty twist though) and there are too few play rooms.

We found the daytime too 'cliquey' with people who all knew each other and didn't even return a smile. We also didn't enjoy walking through the woods with a trail of lone retired gentlemen behind us hoping to see a bit of action... plus it's like going on safari just finding the place - it's in the back of beyond! All in all it just wasn't for us. That said, I know many people love it.

I felt the same on an evening, really didn't rate it at all. I love it during the day but always go as part of a crowd, never noticed it to be any more or less cliquey than elsewhere

we love it there , we find it has what we want so its good for us, as others have said try for yourself, we all have our own ideas as to what makes a club, but it is a very popular place daytime and night. enjoy

Hmm, we had hight hopes for Eurekas - we actually seek a 'party like' atmosphere, where the dance floor is fairly busy all night (we've only visited two clubs, the dance floor little used in either & after 11.30am virtually deserted - everyone was shagging in private/open rooms). In essence we're looking for a club to dance, party/ flirt...where we can head off to a private room if the mood takes us - or if we hit it off with others.

How does Eureka fair here?

Get down on a Saturday night, dance floor usually full all night. Phone in the morning though and book a table as it's so busy so you've got somewhere to put your drinks. Tell them you're new too.
