Hi,we sent them a msg and they said had been flooded out so were using the opportunity to do some work on it,also i know they have been in the press recently ,council had been poking around x

love Gems. It is a little shabby around the edges compared with somewhere like the VA but I have felt more comfortable there than anywhere else. A rough diamond but a true gem. The owners and Ian make the place. We would be gutted if it closed

A male friend of ours was going to take me for my first ever visit to this (or any!) club as it is his favourite place. He emailed the owners a two weeks ago and they were still not open due to the flooding and ongoing renovation. No opening date was given.
