Being honest about it just go with an open mind , don't expect to have fun .

Work out how much you can drink and then take exactly half that ammount . If you smoke take tailor made fags . Bring condoms

Make sure your clean , had a shower etc clean clothes , breath mints if you smoke deodorant and aftershave . Nails trimmed

And then you will have a good time

Looks like we are the only ones brave enough on here to say it's a terrible place (I know through conversation with others there are many that agree) a terraced house in a little street where kids are innocently sleeping and people walking straight next to their windows obviously scantily clad seems so wrong then when you go in the (I'm so sorry but only word I can think of) misfits show you around you can't get away from the smell of smoke but the worst thing ever was the host himself would not leave me alone so unbelievably up himself. It nearly made us quit swinging but glad we didn't. Just to put the icing on the cake the host then messaged us constantly to leave a review but at the time we were so angry we thought we might later regret what we put in it. We might have just about coped if host hadn't acted so disgusting he even tried to barge into the toilet with me when I was going in there to get away from him. Sorry this is negative and blunt but I am gobsmacked that nobody else has spoken up as most people agree with me that I have spoken to. Admittedly it was 2 years ago but it's still se host and street and I'm guessing those people that show you around probably haven't changed. Please don't give me any crap for this comment as I am only being 100% honest in my opinion and I am entitled to that. There were a few really nice party goers there but our experience was ruined mostly by him himself xx

We have to fully disagree with the above sad rude couple. They not been in two years says it all the venue is top notch and the staff are brilliant and not misfits as they said. The host is the best around and makes every one welcome. They have done so much to this place in the last two years you would not reconise it inside. The place is always spotless and clean and the staff are all shirt and tie and very polite every time we have gone. The venue is always very well supported and packed at times. They have the second highest club reviews on here which speaks volumes. We say take what the above say with a pinch of salt and what they have put is not 100% true as they say. Instead of reading the negative crap they have put go the the club review page and read the positive what people say about one of the best clubs in the country and give it a try and you will have a great night we have never had a bad night there and we been going 3 years This is our 100% view on donkeys. They get more positive reviews than any other club so we thing the above negative stands for nothing in our book. There is always some one you can not please and the above is one of them so glad you do not go as we would not want to meet you.. Keep up the good work donkey we love your place.

This venue is a terraced house at the end of a side street. I would be frankly amazed if it was licensed and frankly in my opinion is a complete fire hazard.

As to the positive reviews some (many?) of these are definitely nagged out of visitors by "dick" himself afterwards. Repeated emails that at least two ladies I know found so oppresive that they blocked DD

Nobody says anything so as to avoid being flamed or talked down on the scene by this venues fans.

Compared to the proper clubs this is a pokey little house party

I think it's fair to say that everyone is entitled to their view of the club, it's owner and venue. Insulting people that don't have the same opinion as you only reinforces a negative opinion.

Live and let live. I don't bare-back so I wouldn't go. That's my choice, those that do, have fun. Those that have and then been harassed afterwards, report. Those that have a review/opinion after going, let other's know when they ask. We are all adult enough to make informed choices, aren't we?

Having been to a pregnant GB there Agee years ago when I was single. I was a little put off by the venue due to location as others said a terrace house. The actual gb wasn't bad apart from being bareback and having the owner constantly slag off other clubs and their owners. I also was asked constantly to make sure I give a review.

There's reasons why there are so many positive reviews, it's because anyone who visits will receive constant reminders from DD until they post one, and God forbid it's a negative review if you do that you get some serious harassment from other visitors and some horrendous accusations from DD himself as well as requests that the review to be removed as its a fake review and the reviewer never attended.

That being said try it for yourself, you might enjoy it

Try reading your verifications you get first as your lies have caught you out so don't moan if people have a go at you. You could not be that concern as you still played there so hypocritical. Before you start slagging a place off try reading your own verifications you make a song and a dance of people being a sleep but you were happy to play there that makes you the bad ones not the club. And you wonder why people have a go at you double standards we say so glad you don't go there because you would get a mouth full from us for sure

I said who says we met a couple I did not say we didn't meet another couple but funny how you haven't addressed the actual reason we left. This is what puts me off visiting certain venues when I'm in the area: the behaviour of the regulars. Who wants to visit a club where this sort of thing is acceptable and condoned by the owners?
