Wandering which is best for Newbies

Hey all, we recently posted in the introductions.

But thought our next query is better suited to here. We are based in Kent and are keen to visit a club, looking to indulge in our interests in watching and being watched.

Two clubs caught our eye that is Eurekas and The Vanilla Alternative. What can you lovely people suggest is a better club for a first visit for newbies who are still nervous about the whole thing and are currently only looking to be watched and watch?

Thanks for reading.

It depends what you're looking for. Eureka's is bigger, has more of a nightclub feel and has private playrooms. Vanilla Alternative is smaller with no private playrooms, although there is a couples room. Both have hot-tubs. Why not try both and compare?

Okay thank you, sure as long as first visit goes well we will go to both eventually!

From what you've said and our own research Eurekas is going to probably be first!

our first visit the saturday just gone was to s club in slough. we chose it as it was smaller then the rest of the clubs and they have a limit on single men. we would highly recommend it for a first timer as it allows you start small. its only been open a few months but annie and sam the owners are super nice and very accommodating. we are going back for our second visit this weekend.

That S private club does look interesting, unfortunately with the age restriction being over 23 MissyM couldn't attend. Which is a bit sad.

But thank you!

go to va

no annual membership fee any more means, while it is more expensive than most to attend, if it might be infrequently then it can be worth the extra £10 on the door. Plus it is a nice place.

Don't worry, we always get nervous and have been to 4 different clubs now. So at least 50% of people inside start off nervous too, but then you relax into it. No one will make you do anything, everyone has been polite in our experience.

Just curious why do you think it's a nice place yourselves?

Didn't realise no membership anyway though...

I haven't been to Eureka but VA is very nice. I'm not a fan of the lack of private play space, but if you're going from Canterbury I imagine you'll be staying overnight. VA has about a dozen rooms on site (it used to be a hotel), so you can always nip upstairs for some privacy. Plus there's always the possibility of an after-party with the other guests

Thanks for the advice.

Guessing though you have to book those rooms well in advance though

Yes, they do go quite soon. A week ahead if time should be ok.

I'm not sure how far ahead they take bookings. Earlier will always be better.

Hi guys

Eureka also offers a free membership you just pay entry as you attend.

It does have a nightclub atmosphere and is a very laid back non pressured environment. Saturday nights are the busiest with over 150 lifestylers in attendance weekly.

On your first visit let them know you are new and someone will show you around and go through everything with you.

You also take your own alcohol which makes it an affordable night. Saturday entry is just £35.

There's a great vibe and as long as you mix well chat with others we are sure you'll love it just as much as we do x

Have you considered le boudior E1 ? hotels a very short walk away. Currently considered to be doing rather well and a high end sophisticated club.

You do have to join and show id but for many that's more reason to join.

Also the least pressure you'll find in any club, we would say perfect for your first time. Social area and play areas, lots to walk around and see, even the large play room on the top floor has a seated area to watch from.

Trust us you'll enjoy the aesthetic pleasures on view far more than other clubs !

A variety of ages, size and shapes to make everyone feel comfortable. It isn't the cheapest, so no baseball cap wearing chavs cluttering the place up

Plus it was clean, good lighting and heating. Only downside are the unisex toilets, but not an issue if you stay over, as you can nip upstairs

Unisex toilets are pretty common in clubs.

+1 for eureka. Very laid back friendly vibe. VA is very nice (classy) but we felt there were more expectations...

Near Kettering

Haven't been to eurekas but highly recommend the VA. Great staff and great premises.

I agree some private playrooms would be nice but there is a couples only room and the staff are quick to sort things out not that i have ever seen any problems.

For a first visit i recommend a couples only night. Most single guys are well behaved but however rare some can be a bit pushy. Not what you want to deal with first time going.

You will be suprised how quickly you relax there.

What do you mean by expectations?"

It was the fact when we went, everybody moved away from the bar/dance area at roughly the same time to the play zone, so we felt pressured to do the same. Eureka, because it feels more social and dancing focused with play on the side, just makes it a little more fluid.

Oh okay that's disconcerting. But thank you for elaborating much appreciated

So can anyone give an opinion on Pleasures?

Eureka was our first club which wasn't a bad night however we much prefer Jaydees now Good music, friendly guests and staff, clean and tidy with a decent sized dance floor, large mixed play area and six private play rooms. BYOB so no expensive bar bills.

£25 entry (less if you become a member) which includes soft drinks, tea/coffee and a buffet. You can also hire a playroom to stay over (bring your own bedding) for £20. A great non-pressured night out and stay over for less than £50

We are big fans of eureaka it's a friendly place to go nice and relaxed. A good first time club. If you do go you will need ID to register as a member no charge for this.anything else you need to know feel free to ask.

Also club dv8 by medway services is nice and quiet relaxed place with the usual hottub pool ect.

We also like watching. At both the club's you will get plenty of opportunity to watch and be watched
