Hey fabbers I'm looking to take a lady friend to kestrels in the near future it'll be a first for both of us and we're a little nervous about it so looking for advice so we don't look like total noobs or make school boy errors and make fools of ourselves lol |

Take suitable footwear, flip-flops or sandals
If your not going to be comfortable naked or wrapped in a short towel take a wrap, sarong or light robe. Bear in mind it is natuarist so nothing to major.
There is free tea/coffee and water, if you want anything else to drink take it with you, fridges are available for guest use.
Same for food. Microwave available to warm stuff up or take picnic.
Sun stuff, if your going to enjoy the sun, slip slop slap, it is easy to get caught out.
Talking of protection  take whatever might be needed.
Relax and smile, be sure to explore the whole venue, it is large and sprawls.
Do not be surprised if you end up horny, it is a great place that tends to inspire naughtiness. |

I agree with _aucy tigger. You'll make friends very easily if you socialise. Enjoy chatting with everyone and you can't go wrong. Usual etiquette, don't touch without first asking if it's okay. Enjoy! |

Arrive as it opens...take the first step into public nudity with you and your partner alone.
By the time others arrive you will be used to being starkers in a public place.. takes 5 to 10 mins for it to feel completely normal |

Can i jump on here to ask some questions . Planning on going and wondering what it's like for a single female? Should I try and bring a friend or just relax and enjoy alone? (Pretty nervous by the way) xx |

I would suggest having a look at the "Kestrels/AbFabs 24" thread (if you hit my green arrow you'll see it), it's full of people chatting about the place and when they plan to go. Kestrels is generally more relaxed than AbFabs (especially AbFabs on a Friday night). As someone who normally goes alone, I'd definitely recommend going with a friend - at least you're guaranteed someone to talk to that way. |

A lot depends on when you go. Daytimes more relaxed. Friday nights v busy with single men. |

To the OP - pretty much nothing to worry about at all. It is a very relaxed place and you can choose to do what you want to do. If the weather is great then you can just chill and relax by the pool, in the sun and be yourselves. There will almost certainly be some naughtiness going on ranging from cheeky playful happenings to things a lot ruder and stimulating. Some will be happening in open (can be very horny to see) and some will be behind closed doors. Be open and friendly and, if anyone gets a bit too close to you a firm but polite "no thank you" will do the trick. You can also relax in the sauna or hot tubs, wander down to the dungeon. Easy going place to go - do it! And have fun. |

I have been to kestrels many times, it is a great place to enjoy some naked relaxation, I would say the best in the area. I have played too in the play areas and I must say they are well designed and clean. Single guys get a lot of bad press at these venues, true there are some who go for totally the wrong reasons and think that everybody is there to play with them (they should rightly be strongly criticised) however the vast majority are courteous and sensible, yes we like to play too, but I have always found that the girls like to play too at times, in fact I find the girls more demanding at times, I have on many occasions found myself being groped by a lady there without being asked. Many ladies treat all men with a lack of respect, we try to strike up conversation and either get ignored or talked to like a naughty school boy. It is this unwillingness for everyone to chat openly that in my opinion leads to the rogue guys getting too pushy. I personally think that clubs should adopt a wrist band colour code eg green equals I want to play with anyone at all no questions ( there are some who do), orange equals I like playing but I want to chat first and red (most people) equals I am here to relax not play. The band's could be changed at will to suit the mood. Then those wearing the band's could communicate their mood making it easier to initiate approaches with just receptive people xx us guys are not all bad xx |

Bands are a great idea... but my red band needs to be a flag to put on sun bed... don't want white bits  |

You really will enjoy it as it is a great place. Probably the biggest key is for the single guys that go and provided you go with the right attitude (that this is a naturist spa with great facilities that you can relax and enjoy) rather than a view that it is a guaranteed orgy fest that you can gorge yourself on then you will get a lot more out of it. It will depend on who is there and as it is not a defined event venue the numbers will vary quite a lot. Some days will be very quiet whereas others will be properly busy. The more time you can allow yourself to relax and be there the better value it will feel to you and the more chilled you will be. Enjoy those that are there and be open to chat and be friendly. Mondays are not a bad day to go as you are free to stay on in the evening for AbFabs and I think that might also be the case for Wednesdays. But do go and do have a great time.  |
