We've finally decided to take the plunge and go to a club. We've played before, but only ever private meets. Quest is our nearest, but this week we can only make it on the Friday afternoon session. We just wondered how busy it gets for this session? The obvious answer is that it depends on who turns up, but just as a rough idea, would this session be a reasonable one for first timers at a club?

We went about a month ago on a Friday afternoon-didn't get there until late and it was a bit quiet & we were the only couple. We still had lots of fun & enjoyed playing! We went back in the evening & it was much busier.
Depending on work we are thinking of going this week too-maybe see you there. x |

We have been a few times on a Friday afternoon, nit been in the summer holidays though.....we have always enjoyed our afternoons out, a mix of singles and couples - was not busy but enough of a range of ages/types to find some compatible playmates! The atmosphere has always been relaxed and respectful - which is essential as far as we are concerned. Tell the person booking you in that it is your first visit, they will show you round and whilst they are showing you round you will have the ideal opportunity to ask them any questions you have about etiquette.
