Hi all,
I'm either spending Thursday night in Cannock or Derby for work and if it is Derby I'm thinking of paying attic a visit.
Probably on the Thursday night rather than the Friday daytime.
Anyone else going? Got any advice for newby to the club scene? Or last anyone want to come show me the ropes and hold my hand(or anything else you might want to hold ) |

Friday daytime at the attic is an event for TVs and their admirers so if this isn't your thing you might want to give it a miss. I can't comment on whatit's like on a Thursday because I've only visited Friday or Saturday nights. |

Yep. I have visited the Attic, but it was a while ago before the dogging area and upstairs dance floor was added..
I am a regular at Atlantis in sunny stoke. So can tell you all about that club.

Advice for newbie to the club scene in general....
Read the club website and check if single men are allowed in and information regarding membership, alcohol, dress code etc
On arrival tell them it's your first time, you should get a tour of the club and chance to ask any questions.
Talk to people. Be friendly and polite. Talk to anyone and everyone. It's your chance to meet others and ask about that club, experiences of other clubs and generally network. By talking to a couple, they might not to play with you, but if they remember you as a great fun chap and know of a party with more guys needed they might get in touch.
Think of it as networking , getting your username known.
Sit near the bar for chance to meet people as they arrive.
Go with the idea that your first visit will be a fun evening to suss out what club's are all about. Try to relax and smile and if you get invited to join someone, that is a bonus.
If you enjoy the visit, right a club review. If you don't enjoy it, speak to the club owners and discuss issues with them.
Most club's are full of fun friendly people. |
