“posh” club
Jump to: Newest in thread
For want of a better term, what do people think is the “poshest” club in the uk? To be specific I mean a club where the decor is high end, it looks fabulous, is obviously very clean. Are there any clubs that are like that? I’ve been to quite a few around the Uk and none have yet been quite like that.
Maybe it’s a difficult to achieve plush and high end interior decoration if lots of people are fucking on the soft furnishing every night.
Is there a club you’d dress up to attend? |

Tricky one...
We love to dress up but haven't been to any clubs like you describe 'posh/high-end'
Closest
VA
Liberty (not very) Elite
Secrets
Maybe some of the London clubs??? |

Donkey Dicks lol only kidding there are many clubs that have special event nights where you can dress up etc masquerade themed evenings which are amazing. But to be honest posh clubs do not do it for me much prefer relaxed evenings and to go with the flow x |

So I think some might have misinterpreted my post. I wasn’t asking for places that ask you to dress up to attend or special parties like that. I meant that you felt the club was ‘upmarket’ so you instinctively dressed up to go there because it was such a nice environment.
The terms I’ve used such as posh and upmarket aren’t exactly to my liking, but you get the gist. |

We've been to the following:-
VA = Best Decor
Le Boudoir = most sexy clientele
Jaydees = More relaxed atmosphere, quite friendly
Xstasia - best for dancing and has many themed rooms.
In Our opinion we feel that on a busy night Xstasia is your best bet as it has everything as it is actually a converted night club so it has many rooms. The owner is super nice and friendly.

This is a very good question. I had to really give it a lot of thought.
Having visited most of the North West, East and West Midlands clubs, most are very nice and clean (at least at the start of the evening) but I can't think of any that are 'posh'.
Cupid's has nice decor and lighting I feel, but again that's just my opinion.
Maybe there is a market for such a place? |

I tell people exactly that, that if they want to go they should make an effort because everyone else does. And I think as OP said it's about matching up to the higher quality fixtures and futtings rather than any sort of imposed dress code or rules. After all there is a decent wet area, aswell, so it's not all about the dressing up. |

I’ve visited the Townhouse for a Raw event and have to say the decor had a nice upmarket feel to it and all the people who attended made a real effort and the event had real sexy vibe.
That said the decor at No 3 is splendid very much like a posh nightclub but I’ve only ever been on a normal club night

La Boudoir in London has the best clientel and dungeon area .
VA just outside St Neots is well designed but clientel are varied.
Le Oubillette Dungeon -Bedfordshire....not a club but you can private hire and it's very plush.

If I’m honest with you, there are very nice clubs such as vanilla alternative near Bedford but if you’re expecting Mayfairesque type of establishment such as sexy fish then there is nothing equivalent in the uk swinging world.
We’ve even been to private parties marketing themselves as high end and elite but appear to serve canapés such as Iceland pork pies and sausage rolls.
I do however find the alcohol selection and prices at a lot of licensed swingers clubs to be very good. |

Also I’m laughing at the poster who recommended xtasia. Don’t get me wrong, xtasia is a great club and we’d happily return but I don’t see it as high end or posh. Unless you feel West Brom high street is that way! |

Hah...having seen a lot of club attendees, let's just say - as Paul Weller once opined - "The public gets what the public wants"

Slightly off topic, but it does amuse me when some people use the term posh seemingly completely oblivious as to where the term comes from.
When I get accused of being or speaking posh, say in certain parts of London or here in Manchester, I find myself asking them, do you know where the term comes from, what does it mean? 9 times out of 10 they will reply no.
Port side out, port side in I reply, even then their eyes glaze over.
No I am not posh, neither is my flogger, it has no preference, it and I enjoy caressing the skin of women from all areas of social standing.

Don’t be apologising for using the word posh. One reason we don’t attend Clubs in the UK is scruffy scratters with £20 in their pockets can just walk up and gain entry to most of them . |

"Surely it's not about posh...it's about being clean and tidy and a relaxed fun experience? If you want posh...host a dinner party lol"
I think they mean luxurious and swank and just not a shit hole where your gonna stick to the carpets and the place has more gloss paint on the doors and walls than B&Q has in it’s shop! |

So we have been to most not all of the clubs in the UK
1. Club SX - brand new facilities only been open properly since August 19 different theme Rooms ( we like the stage) great theme nights for everyone
2. Townhouse - plush surroundings - great gin bar people do seem to dress up have great theme nights
3. VA - we went to a masquerade night there last year belle amour run the parties everyone dressed up
4. Secrets (Devon) - fantastic club if you can take a lady because it is only on once a month everyone makes the effort a much more European feel than most clubs we have still been playing at 10am. They have caravans you can sleep in that you hire.
5. Liberty Elite - again good surroundings they are just finishing off the accommodations so should be quite plush from what I hear. We have always had a lot of fun on the dance floor and the orgy bed.
Just our opinions from what we have seen
Hope this helps

Between Hanky and Bunny we have both been to or hosted in many many clubs but we now choose to host in Club sx in Blackpool for a bloody good reason
We aren't going to sit singing is praises, the reviews all speak for themselves and the only way you'll really know is to try it for yourself |
