Does chameleons in Darlaston have hotel rooms or am I imagining things? I’m sure I’d seen somewhere that or did...

They are hotel rooms, not dungeons!

They have tea, coffee, TV, heating, en suite bathrooms/wet rooms, some rooms don't have windows but most do. You also get a breakfast sandwich and orange juice brought to your room in the morning.

I've been in almost every hotel room there and none of the doors just go in. It's completely untrue that you're not safe there.

The hotel rooms are gorgeous, especially the new ones. They're clean and modern. All the doors lock and are completely safe!

There is no safety issue. We book every time we visit the club.

There are two types of the room: new for £70 and old for £50.

New rooms are bigger and in our opinion the beds are more comfortable. Also not sure if all, but few new rooms we slept had mirrors on the ceiling.

Rooms are grouped, so for example 11-12 are next to each other and 14-15 too...etc.

So if you are in the room 11 you can’t walk to the room 14 as the corridor is locked.

Imho, it is worth to pay £70

If you've heard that they don't lock, yes there was a post on here a while back where someone said they couldn't lock their room door and the club couldn't get anyone in to fix it at 3AM on a Sunday morning. Just an isolated incident that was fixed the next day.

"Has anyone stayed in room 5 and what’s it like please?? Xx"

That’s the triple room? It’s very nice, very well equipped complete with a mini fridge, with a sofa bed as well. On the bad side it’s right down in the basement so it does feel

Like a bit of a trek going up and down the concrete stairs but take an oxygen tank and you’ll be fine

"Has anyone stayed in room 5 and what’s it like please?? Xx"

The trek down to the room seems to go on forever! This room has no window but we found that to be a plus point as we weren’t woken early in the morning by daylight creeping through the curtains. It was also a bonus for hubby who needed an afternoon nap after working at silly o’clock that morning. It was dark so he slept well and recharged his batteries ready for a night of fun. Another bonus of being in the basement was that it was nice and cool, we stayed in this room on a very hot summer day

Me and My Girl have never had a problem with the accomadation. It's reasonable and does everything we need it to do. We pretty much always spend the night if we're visiting. We would love Chameleons and love live there if we could. It has everything you need in one place. Can't wait till our next stay Saturday.

We found that the old rooms have the beds very uncomfortable... too soft.

Apart of that, shame that they close at 3am and kick you out around 11am... it is always a challenge to come back home tired. Once we stopped on the local service half way through and had few hours rest on the grass

Apart of that, the rooms are split in the building so it is impossible to organise after-party with someone from the room 5 where you are in 14.
