Why are jeans and trainers not permitted in a lot of clubs? In today’s age a lot of jeans and trainers can be very smart!

And as pointed out elsewhere, most of the time your clothes come off!

We allow smart jeans and shoes.

The reason being is that people's idea of acceptable trainers is quite varied. We had guys walking in with dog eared, scruffy Adidas trainers on with jeans and didn't see the problem.

Others wear smart designer trainers.

If we allow trainers full stop, then the people who have lower standards will think it's perfectly acceptable to pitch up in their scruffy 3 stripes and it just lowers the standard of the event...next thing, the scruffy jeans will come out and the Ugg boots.

Our club is not an immediate dress down venue and our guests like to dress up to impress their fellow swingers.
