I do however would like to let you know this is not compulsory and we as a club are not enforcing it, the government haven’t made it a legal requirement (yet)

Can you clarify the entry requirements to the club.
I'm confused, you say a covid pass isn't required, but on the threads for the parties, your asking to take peoples temperatures before allowing entry.
What will taking my temperature achieve? I've had 2 jabs, thought that exempted me from anything else?
May have to rethink my return to Quest if this is the case

We won't be visiting any club that require vaccination passports. Not because we aren't vaccinated but we dont agree with the ethics of it . So hopefully quest will carry on with their policy and not enforce it |

Good to hear from you
Okay to clarify no you don’t need an NHS Covid pass at all at any time you are correct in that. However we will take peoples temperatures on the way in because remember you can still contract Covid and pass it on to somebody else even if you have had your two jabs.
So basically for those people who attend quest who have family members who are disabled, have a compromised immune system or any other high risk disability etc. We would like to help to protect them.
We have to recognise and be sensible knowing the pandemic is not over yet. If people decide not to have their temperature taken although I really don’t see why they wouldn’t that is entirely up to them.
We are not taking away peoples freedom of choice here.
If you feel compromised in anyway by doing this then obviously quest isn’t for you however if you are willing to do this for the safety of others we will be really glad to see you

Just clarify quest is not asking for the NHS Covid passports we absolutely agree with you, it would be an infringement on peoples basic rights and we don’t agree with that, everybody has freedom of choice
We will however be asking people to just have a quick temperature check before entry, which every hospital in the country does whenever we attend appointments visit. I have mentioned this to somebody else on this thread if you have a quick read.

I can't understand why people aren't willing to take any measures Quest management think will help keep everyone safe. What is the problem with having your temperature taken, showing a vaccination certificate or taking a lateral flow test ? Clubs have had a nightmare 16 months. I am happy to do all I can in supporting them in opening safely. |

I didnt actually say I had a problem taking my temperature.
I'm just trying to establish what the entry requirements are.
Also, Dave and Jo.. at what temperature will you be refused entry to the club? |

We can't make it to Quest till mid Aug. Looking forwards to it. But regarding the Covid safety, a well ventilated indoor place really helps in that regard.

Hi, don’t worry, just come along with your id and you can join on the door on the night you wish to attend. Always remember you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, everything is at your own pace.
If you just want to enjoy the evening chatting and finding things out about the lifestyle & making new friends with no pressure that is totally fine.
