Mmm, I support stricter control.
There has been an element in the past which don’t fit into (well my) club values.
I personally think single males add to a party environment, however if you can’t relax because of dickheads who don’t understand or bring in poor club values I’m not willing to participate.
I also extended this to females.
Think if people can be vouched for and you have a reliable club membership, then there should be no restrictions to them attending.

In the same way that they have for NYE. We've seen problems recently from an uncontrolled number of single men in, but that doesn't mean all single men are awful. I know lots who are respectful. And as a single woman, I'm happy to have some extra men in. |

For me, who took myself off the list, this has come too late for me to change my plans.
Perhaps, having the 'rules' in place before arranging an event in future will help people make an informed decision.
