I've been thinking of this kind of situation for a while, now, and I think I have come up with a solution:
What if all us shy guys start a trend of wearing something that says: "SHY GUY. NEEDS PICKING UP." like a plain grey wrist band, and anyone seeing the wristband will know that the guy is just not comfortable with approaching people for conversation. It's discreet, has no negative connotations, and would help out the very shy guys no end. |

So, as some of you may be aware, I am wearing my full GIMP outfit to this event, and I'd like to set down some ground rules. Here goes:
1. The GIMP is not just for christmas: With any luck he'll have enough energy to last well into the new year.
2. The GIMP is not a toy, he's THE toy: Play with him, use him, share him with your friends, take him to parties and let everyone have a go.
3. The GIMP cannot be left alone without supervision: He just makes a mess and falls asleep.
4. The GIMP is self cleaning: At the end of any play sessions, if you leave him in a puddle of ecstasy, his self cleaning mode switches on automatically and he will be clean and fresh for the next time you take him out to play with.
5. Sugar and Alcohol are fuel: The GIMP runs on alcohol and sugary treats. If he looks like he is a little low on fuel just feed him a cake, chocolate bar, or an alcoholic beverage, and he will perk right up ready to continue.
6. The GIMP is not a cleaning robot: The GIMP does not do well with cleaning tasks. He often just does a mediocre job at best, and often leaves sticky puddles of god knows what when left alone with a vacuum cleaner.
7. The GIMP likes to show his appreciation in inappropriate ways: If you do something that makes the GIMP happy he will often show his appreciation by trying to give pleasure to you. It's not his fault, his boundary program has become a little frazzled over time.
8. The GIMP does not react well to pain: Unfortunately the GIMP has a tendency to run away if pain is threatened. The best way to get him to do anything is with the aforementioned cake, sweets, and alcohol. Spankings will just make him repeat the word RED, for some reason.
9. The GIMP is house trained: Do not worry about the GIMP leaving little messages in corners, he is completely house trained, and will only use designated lavatories.
10. The GIMP likes liquid sports: The GIMP enjoys diving, snorkelling, and rain, as long as the water is warm and golden. I have no idea what that means, but it says it here on the users manual.
The GIMP will be attending the event in his full GIMP uniform and will be available from 9pm until closing time.
