Make local updates work the same as they do in London

Was duprised to see that in london the local updates dont work the same as the rest of the country.

Where i live im constantly changing between 3 different postcodes to see local updates, mean while if i keep my postcode the same i see statuses from people 20 - 39 miles away. But not from people 5 miles away due to this.

Doesnt really support the idea of local updates

As someone that lives in London I get updates from Ireland not sure why that is especially as I have never been to Ireland
