i think it would be a good idea if you were able to comment on friends status updates rather than having to message them directly

Yeah kind of like that i mean you can fab pics why shouldnt you be able to comment.

I see the point but - you then open the risk of unwelcome comments and do we have time to decide which comments to approve and then if you don't approve risk getting messages asking why you're not displaying comments.

Could be start of a slippery slope..
