Essex.

I have just moved over to Sky mobile and now can not get onto Fab unless I use wifi.

On my mobile data, I get told that Fabs website is unsupported.

Anyone else get this or know away round it?

You can also go into the sky app and disable child safety mode.

My Own Little World

Even though I told Sky mobile I'm over 18 and got them to allow me to use adult sites, I still, have to use a VPN to get on Fab using my data. My sky broadband is fine.

No it’s not always that. This has been an issue for people before although I’ve not seen it crop up for a while. No ones ever managed to get a definitive answer but it’s not always adult filters

Have you tried changing the bowser you use to a cloud base one. I use Puffin it get around those pesky adult restrictions on wifi when you out and about but not sure whether it works with networks

I had this issue multiple times with Vodafone.

All age restrictions were removed through the app and when I rang customer services they confirmed I didn't have any restrictions on my usage.

However they then changed something at their end and told me to reboot my phone and that sorted it.

It hasn't happened in over a year but I've had to make at least 6 calls to them to have it resolved and each time I've asked what exactly they are adjusting if there are no age restrictions and I've been told they aren't at liberty to say.

O o O oo

I had to ask one provider to unblock me four times before it worked...so it has to be their end

As others have said use a VPN.

Would always use a VPN on a mobile device, even if on WiFi.

Central

It's most likely to be the mobile network with adult content restrictions set to active, as others state. In my many years of mobile use, with a selection of networks, they've all occasionally had a bug, where the restrictions get reactivated. I'd always get them to clear them, as this is the service I've contracted with them to provide. It's fine to look for other tools but the job is ultimately for the network to give me what I'm paying for.

I’m also having this issue with Sky. Not able to log into my accounts on mobile data after being able to do so for a number of years. With either google or safari. Rang this morning and all child restrictions are lifted so baffled why its suddenly changed
