You should be able to customise how many consecutive messages someone is able to send you. This would help a lot of people avoid spam messaging. It'd be a [number of messages] box and then a [per] box. So, for example, you could limit accounts to sending you [one] consecutive message [per day] or [four] consecutive messages [per month]. When you reply to the message it would reset the counter, so the limit only applies when messages are sent to someone without a reply from them. |

Hello! Sorry, been thinking about this. What is the reasoning behind it? I cannot work it out.
Surely the simplest thing to do is communicate effectively - members putting everything they want to say into one message and wait for a reply? Rather than send follow up messages - " You there?", "Please read my message!", "What do you think?" - to bump themselves up the inbox

Yeah, I do agree with you, it's just that people aren't always good communicators and we can't control the behaviour of other people. Adding an optional limit on messages to prevent spamming seems easier than educating everyone on the site about healthy sexual dialogue ahah. |

I would only like this if you could restrict it to apply to certain groups.
It drives me mad when random people send consecutive messages but from friends it might be appropriate to send consecutive message with no replies in between.

"If someone sends lots of messages like that they end up on my blocked list.
"
I would suggest this to be the answer and the current anti spam device.
To many guys on here do seem to let their little head do all their thinking and thats just lazy, even for a 'spicy' site like fab |

There is a button....it's called the block button. I mean, you can unblock them. Lol! I personally give a warning and then I have no more time to waste. I wouldn't be able to block everyone on Fab if I tried. not enough hours in the day. |

"A simpler way would be to prevent anyone from sending a second message until the recipient has replied to the first one."
Great idea. Senders might think more carefully when drafting their first message avoiding things like;
Hey!
Nice tits!
You ok?
You want my fat cock?
You get the idea. |

But some people you wouldnt mind it from. I have a few people who I'm friends with who often send a few messages through the day especially on the build up to a meet. I cant always answer straight away if I'm working.
If random people do it I just block them. |

No I mean literally just the very first message. |

I like that people aren't prevented from repeated messaging here - partly because it allows for quickly clarifying or adding something you forgot in your last message, and partly because when people reveal themselves to be a spammer I can block them and be done with it. |
