Iv had the same guy make 4 different accounts.

Every time I block him he gives it a couple months then opens a new one.

Iv got filters on and Iv reported him but still manage to message me.

This all started because he had me waiting hours in a bar to meet him.

Is there anyone else having the same problem. Anything we can do?

Thanks x

Admin always investigate after you make a report to them.

I'd potentially change my town/postcode as well as username, to prevent him being to trace me so easily. You, as a victim of his inappropriate behaviour, shouldn't have to take such drastic steps but it might give you a break for some time.

You could then search for single men, with having them blocked using your mail filters.

IP addresses are typically changed for the same user and not static, so they're not an effective option for a Fab tool to help.

Iv got the age filter single male has to be verified/verified. He even waits the seven days to message me and send me the same pictures of himself but never has his picture on his main profile.

Does that apply to message filters? Would be great if it did

Possibly but you can always turn off all messages and have full control as you make first contact

Block new accounts, unverified, no public photos and non site supporters from being able to message.

Does he use a similar user name and account details each time, if so periodically search for accounts in the area and age range and block any that look as if they could be him before they have a chance to message.

Unfortunately not.

He uses different pic on his profile different ages.

Always put Surrey with is a big area.

It’s the face pics he sends me I know it’s him and tell me where his from like I don’t already know.

The message filters said

Photo verified or verifications, not one of the other

The only other suggestions I have are stop blocking and just ignore, block immediately you realise it's him or regularly check the 'new men' feature regularly in the hope of pre-emptive blocking

Didn’t know about this could be a good suggestion.

I send his a message last night to leave me alone and think he blocked me but I couldn’t block him back so he hold all the power. I did try to block him but not on my blocked list. Also been screen shoting his profiles each time

^^ if you copy the url of your profile and replace your profile name with his you should be able to block him.

He doesn't hold any power, you haven't given him any and he's in no position to take it. If anything you seem to have power over him because he's expending an awful lot of energy on a pointless exercise

You can still block a user if they've blocked you via the drop down menu top right of the profile. You won't see the profile but the menu is there

Iv got his phone number for the first meet he didn’t turn up to. I might have to think about doing it if it continues.

Going back to the original topic of people deleting/recreating profiles, I wonder if it's possible to introduce an ID verification as part of the process.

I know we have the photo/username verification but I have to admit, it baffles me that people repeatedly delete and recreate profiles. Isn't being able to hide a profile enough?

In an ideal world, requesting an account deletion should be final - no further access allowed.

What do others think?

Actually I agree with you on this. Would also stop the time wasting of some people too

We had a similar problem with a Bulgarian couple, they've made three separate accounts pursuing us, weirdos!

O o O oo

I think it a bit strong to call people stalkers for messaging a person every couple of months( assuming it is the same person of course as the OP says the profiles have a different age and is in a wide area )

The person could be blocking you because you say no or if it is a returnee remembered he had mailed you previously, that's what females do to people they probably won't mail again.

There is some advice about filters on the thread which you could use.

Messaging people is not against rules but if you think someone is being a nuisance block them ( some advice on the thread about how to do it when blocked ) and report if breaking any rules in those mails.
