Could this section be split out to true stories and a separate section for fantasies?

Totally agree prefer reading the real stories. There a lot more fun

I can imagine the 'Walter Mittys' and the 'Baron Munchausens' on here shoehorning their fantastical yarns into the Stories section, thus avoiding the Fantasy section altogether.

If I had a BS story I would also disregard the Fantasy section and pass it off as a real life experience. Because, y'know, I want people to think I'm a Champion Lover extraordinaire.

Completely agree with this and have previously asked for it. There are so many badly written fantasies.

Great idea I’d prefer it split but not sure how you could prove it

Most "true stories" have a certain whiff of "Fantasy/wishful thinking" to them though especially ones involving wives being used etc

So would seem pretty hard to categorically distinguish between fact and fiction to separate into 2 sections

Easier to just leave as is and decide for yourself after the 1st or 2nd paragraph it's usually easy to determine if true or not.

When ever we have written a story it’s what has happened. Some of the recent posts just feel off the scale fantasy. No issue with that, just have a specific section for that, is the suggestion.

Same here. I’ve noticed some people add ‘true story’ in the description. I did not do that but it is a true story

100% agree. True stories are the best and I always look out for them

My stories are always based on factual occurrences.

Sometimes I change a few details so that people can't be recognised.

Sometimes an element of fantasy will creep in when I wish something else would have happened
