We hide our profile when not looking for fun. Yet we still receive new messages from people that we've never messaged before or ever received a message from. 🤷🏼♀️ How's this possible if we have hidden our profile.?

You've posted on a few forum threads. I've never seen you before but I was able to click on your profile which said was hidden but there was still an option to message if I wanted to. |

Message filters are separate from hiding your profile |

If you go to message filters you can block anyone from messaging, then you won't get any messages. |

Hiding your profile just stops people seeing your actual profile. They can still message you. If you dont want messages set your filters. |
