Fake AI profiles

I have noted an increase in AI generated pictures being used on fake profiles. i have reported the profiles but no action has been taken to remove them. These profiles are being verified by other fake profiles. Not sure what they're getting out of it, just the thrill or the attention that single female profiles get that men don't?. I hope it's not for scamming purposes.
To make it worse, people are blindly falling for it, the pictures are constantly receiving thousands of likes and are featuring in the hot pictures section.
I note that all profiles we have previously reported, either for being fake or for serious harassment are still present on the site. Is there a point of reporting these if nothing is being done about it?
Have the admin received any training on AI generated content to take the correct action?

Profiles are sanctioned if the report is verified yes. Reports can take up to 48 hours , sometimes longer if there is many coming in so it is good to be patient.
I will paste what Admin say they do with reports onto the next post.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
