Could we maybe consider separating Crossdressing from the Trans options?
I feel like 90% of the category is just cross dressers, and there’s certainly a large enough community to justify the split. |

I'd agree with this as I'm fine with trans women but i don't want to meet folks that are cross dressers etc.
not judging I'm just only interested in women.
I had to adjust my looking for settings due to constantly getting messaged by guys that are just dressed in their wives underwear thinking I'll be interested |

Totally agree.
No offence to anyone, but there is a very big difference between those who may have struggled a long time feeling their body didn't match who they were as a person and those who just love the rush of wearing the opposite gender's clothes for the rush of it (I've done that a few times for the sake of someone else's enjoyment and in no way would I consider myself trans).
To just lump them together is really conflating two very distinct but close categories. |

I rather agree but I fear that this point has been raised a few times before and nothing has happened and I suspect it won’t, partly because there is a bit of a ‘grey area’ between the two anyway, even though occasional cross-dressers, especially the ‘HPW’/wife’s lingerie wearers are nothing like trans-women/ transgender people.
My profile explains my situation as a trans-woman clearly but I still get men asking in messages ‘if I will turn up dressed’! Well it’s not very likely that I will drive somewhere in nightie/negligee dressing gown and slippers is it?!

Quite so. Although both may dress in women’s clothes a transvestite who likes doing so for relaxation or a sexual thrill, regularly or occasionally, has a very different perspective to that of a trans-woman who ‘lives as a woman’ and has been or would like to be physically altered.
If you asked TVs/CDs if they wanted to be castrated/emasculated and physically feminised I think that the great majority would run a mile, but that is what I long for! |
